Stasis is broken
The new stasis classes are broken in pvp. They ruin the game experience and need to be toned down. Especially the warlock.

Good! It needs to be broken. I say break it completely until it doesn’t work anymore. Then those players will actually have to fight someone who has the ability to fight back instead of a frozen defenseless player.

11 RepliesIt's been a week since launch. Ffs cut people some slack! Learn counter moves, get used to the idea that your play style may have to evolve. Or just -blam!- and whinge until bungo nerfs everything and we're running around with bb guns again.

7 RepliesIt really isnt broken. Its new thats why it seems broken because everyone is using it. It would be the same if you ran into 3 spectrals, 3 top tree dawn, etc. Stasis isn't broken when you understand that you arent invincible. The only thing is that the freeze mechanic, regardless of its source, needs to be altered. But that's it. The supers don't have increased mobility, nor do they have a strong shield. They are only effective against frozen targets. The nades arent broken compared to other nades already in the game. And the freeze melee isn't awful, just don't shotgun ape at them and you'll be fine. Every class has a broken melee so the freeze isn't a big deal to me. On top of all of that, when you get to 3000+ glory you see a reduced number of people using stasis because the player base is too agile there and the slow movement hinders the player.

9 RepliesAs a warlock I ask how is statis broken? Penubral blast? - the clast is pretty slow, I find it to be easily avoided as warlock and pretty hard to hit, for example hunters, they are very hard to hit with their jump, pretty much anyone can just off cast, or kill in close combat with shotgun in close combat. Wrath? - omg when no one understood how to use it, it was blast to cast, wiping whole teams in seconds, after everyone learned you can just outrun balls or use sharp turn around corner, or just gun down you because you are pretty slow and don't have avoid. just gonna say it's not best super. and everyone has the same nades. so not sure where warlocks' statis op comes from. In fact I can say warlock are weak and boring class to play. re-rolling to hunter or titan next week.

2 RepliesHave you seen the mobility on the titan one? Sure the warlock melee and super are -blam!-ed but titans basically got top tree dawn blade level of mobility with a better super.

Just play for a bit and you’ll realise it isn’t. That might change when more people get the new exotics though.

Stasis is as broken in PvP as the bodies of everybody being caught in it. To be fair: we ALL saw this coming when they first revealed Stasis.

Yeah I agree, the warlock frozen melee is ridiculous. The map is just full of ice. Stupid!
