I need IO phaseglass needles, should I just wait till season 13 ?

I wanted to buy an ascendant shard to banshee but I need phaseglass needles which are no longer avaiable. Bungie sais that those currency's will ne longer be used by sellers with season 13. Isn't there any way to got some of them before ?
