Bring back Felwinter's Lie shotgun in the new tower kiosk
I know what some of you may be thinking. "Why bring back another obtainable way for the gun that caused such a shift in the crucible meta?" Well for many players like myself, season of the worthy IMO was probably one of the worst seasons at of the time of me writing this post. Some of you might say "If you wanted the gun, you should've just played." Well, we should consider many people boycotted the community event which caused players to stop playing the season overall, and people were simply unwilling to repeat Season of the Dawn with planetary vendors you had to level up. It should also be noted that players also had real-life obligations like work, school, etc. When this category of unfortunate players finally came back to play Season of Arrivals, they were left without one of the most desired weapons in the crucible. I don't think it'll disrupt the Meta considering how OP Stasis is currently, but that's another topic for another day. I've never been much to ask too much from someone before, but Bungie if you read this, please add Felwinter's Lie in the new tower kiosk.

1 ReplyFacts, If Anarchy, 1k, Tarrabah, Izi, and NF are in there the felwinters should be in there. Might get the Heir Apparent treatment and get used later in an iron banner quest.

11 RepliesI have it but they need to bring it back. ESPECIALLY now that mindbenders and seraph are unobtainable/sunset. If I made a new account right now there is no non-sunset shotgun I could get and be competent in PvP with. Astral is from trials which is gone as of now, seraph is gone, felwinters is gone, mindbenders sunset. So what are these players supposed to use? Botheration?

12 RepliesOnly real destiny veteran can have this shotgun. If you leave the game at the season of the worthy is your fault. You leave the game = you aren’t a Destiny veteran = you aren’t allowed to have this shotgun ❤️

I like how the last excuse was life obligations which I agree should always come first but you pre-conceded that by basically saying you couldn't be bothered to play the game. For that I will say No. You can purchase it from the ez button kiosk next year instead just like the waaaah I didn't get the heir apparent losers who are currently burning up the forums with there sniveling drivel right now.

How about being it back as a quest? Most pinnacles should've stayed as a quest for players to play the game. Just wanting to buy it, what a joke.

Fine if they remove the raid requirements stopping me from getting those exotics. I mean we actually had to earn not forgotten, mountain top, etc but the raid exotics are rng. It’s -blam!-ed up. If I raided I would already have them.

Sadly it was a be there or not at all kinda gun ( even though dmg liked a few tweets asking for it to return) I was watercressed so I could not get the Heir apparant exotic. Was I pissed? A tad. Did I go on and on and whine? No. It was bungies fault I was watercressed ( they accidentally made the issue and worked to fix it.) Tuesday. Exotic kiosk, grabbed it as soon as possible. Oh... They removed it Wednesday because they want to make it obtainable via a event again. I guess I got it in time. Listen I understand your plight It may come back in the future but for now it won't. So. Just sit tight and be patient. Ohhh. This is coming from someone who plays the game and uh, let's just say due to some issues I'm not working so I use destiny as a coping method.

I don’t know if I agree. If bungie insists on having felwinters as the only aggressive frame option for pvp then absolutely have it in the kiosk. Shotguns are so dominant right now with the intro of stasis and the necessity to play quickly and basically the only option that hasn’t been sunset is felwinters. If we get other shotguns that can actually compete with it then of course I’d be fine with leaving it behind but currently that is not the case. Only time will tell really.

Incidentally, before you shoot off with the whole real life argument; I'm self-employed, work about 50 to 55 hours a week, have a family, a mortgage and all the the fun stuff of being an adult and still got my felwinter's, mindbenders, dustrock etc.

1 ReplyThey def should add it, the season in which the quest was available was by far the worst of Y3 imo. Hence why I also did not get felwinters (I wasn't playing much during that god awful rasputin grind). People who say "yOu sHoUlD hAvE jUsT pLaYeD" are just gatekeeping, and also the same people that complain about the dumbest things. They also hate when people post legitimate criticism like this because it's actually a sound argument, lmao. Well i hope Bungo brings the Lie back for both of our sakes

If you didn’t get Felwinters, than that’s on you. The best replacement you could’ve gotten was a good roll Seven Seraph Shotgun, which was available just last season and during Season of Worthy.

As someone with felwinters, I agree if it keeps the same sunset level. It’s a great shotgun but I wish they’d add new aggressive frames with new perks so felwinter isn’t the only option
