I'm one of the Unfortunate/stupid people who got mistakenly banned. It's been 3 weeks of waiting for a follow-up and I need help getting my account back

Hey guys, I'm a D2 PVE main who enjoys crucible with friends once in a while. Here are my stats: https://destinytracker.com/destiny-2/profile/steam/4611686018467651468/overview It's 1550 hours of PVE vs 220 hours of PVP. (3k hours reported from D2 checklist) And it's the perfect start for people who doubt that I cheat because all my stats are there for all to see. I've been a part of this group of friends who game together since the release of destiny 2. It's an amazing community, and it's honestly the main driving force in why I play destiny and why I want my account back so badly. It was Oct 20th, and I was had gotten heavily back into destiny due to a mountain biking injury at the end of September - broken clavicle, 2 broken ribs, and a pneumothorax. I had also started to play No Man's sky after their Origins update. I usually like to build bases in such games just purely out of creative energy, rather than build according to resources, so i had a cheathappens trainer that I was using at the time. I also wanted to mention that I had been taking my pain medication, which made me prone to mistakes. Well, I'm sure you've all guessed it by now. I accidentally had the trainer running while in the tower, and after hitting f1 (open inventory) I heard the sound "trainer activated", and immediately shut down the trainer. I then assumed all was fine and went an played a game of crucible with friends. After that match, I was permanently banned from destiny 2. I've done my legwork, I sent everything to Bungie and based on the information I sent, they decided to take a look at my appeal case (Case ID: 47842). I have since even followed up with a small petition or affidavit from the people I play with. Tweeted Bungie help, and also included my hospital discharge papers and other documents to them. which I won't share here because it has personal information from both me and my clanmates. It's been 24 days since my ban, I've tried being patient and giving them the benefit of doubt and assumed they were busy with the new expansion launch, but I've been really feeling like I'm missing out as everyone I know is playing the new expansion. I would buy the game over again, but honestly, it really bugs me that my first mistake was punished so harshly, and I don't feel like buying shadowkeep/forsaken/beyond light and losing all my progress. I've already spent that money, and spent even more on silver throughout the years--i've spent 500 Canadian dollars on this account. But the most important thing is the time I've spent on this account. I have multiple titles, tons and tons of triumph points, and countless weapons that are now impossible to get. So I'm here asking for help to maybe bring some attention to me or others who may be stuck in a hard place. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Makka edit: If I could pay bungie the amount for all expansions and d2 over again, i would. I just want to have all my stuff back. That account meant something to me.

  • Unfortunately, you were not banned by “mistake”. You were rightfully banned. Bungie has been more than clear that if you have cheat programs running at the game detects it, you will be banned. Whether intentional, or not, the ban was not applied in error.
