Heir Apparent was in exotic archive now it's gone
Was in the exotic archive even this morning and I just got on after a shower and it's gone completely gutting one of the few things I had to work for. Is this intentional as I cant find any info on it?

2 RepliesHeir Apparent was presumably removed because it will be available from another source at a later date, likely Guardian Games 2021. I was still able to equip the copy I bought earlier in the week using DIM, but haven't checked to see if I can pull a new copy from my Collections.

They don’t want to add one-of-a-kind exotics into the archives. I don’t know this for sure, but it’s what makes the most sense to me. One-of-a-kind exotics won’t be available in the archives. And I personally love the fact that you can’t get it. when you brought a raid exotic into a game in destiny, it shows that you worked for it, and that you were lucky enough to get it. Most payers (like my self) didn’t want to do the work for them, and that’s what made them special (aside form the perks). They don’t have all of the exotics in there because they want the ones that aren’t in there to be special. So to answer your question, they had it in there by mistake.

7 RepliesThey removed it which has to be the most messed up thing I've ever seen in destiny. I was getting the glimmer to get it and saved my exotic cypher it was only weapon I needed. Now cyphers are pointless and I saved it all last season. They vaulted everything then put us back on destiny 1 engine and now are literally trying to piss me off. Then they want us to grind for this gun later because they don't have an exotic for an event. Wow

Big brain bungie move, put a weapon up for sale that only 25% of the community have, from one of the most hated in game events ever, only to remove it. That makes EA look like a saint.

This was a bad move to do by bungie on 2 fronts. 1 you made the mistake stand by it and find a new weapon for the next guardian games. 2 the fact that you going put a old gun in a new event is a bad choice anyway as half the player base won't do the the event because they already have.

Otherwise you could find the exotic items of other event too but doesn't so now you know I'm right on that one ! Also the event wasn't boring, it gaved you things to do when you where bored by going into different activity and wage destruction and come back smile on your lips because of that yeeting destruction you made

Absolutely ridiculous, didnt want to spend the first few days of the DLC grinding for lattice on nessus or whatever now I’ve lost out for who knows how long!

I got materials needed this morning after then update then I went to the tower to get it and it's not in the kiosk, It's beyond stupid to even have it there in the first place if you were going to remove it 3 days later.

I did the grind to get Heir Apparent. I saw it in the exotic archive and was pleased that everyone would be able to pick it up now. Disappointed that Bungie pulled it. -

Every time we don’t react when they treat us like this, we are allowing them to continue doing this! Each time we said “ok” to the standard “It wasn’t meant to be this way” excuse we allow them to treat us like **** and they keep pretending what they do is for us. Removing Heir Apparent after adding it to the Kiosk was a disgusting move, just shows that Bungie stopped caring about players. The next time it becomes available through an event we should all make sure TO NOT PARTICIPATE.
