Ending (spoilers)
So that ending... dang. It gave me Revenge of the sith vibes. Like, Anakin vs Dooku with the pyramid watching us from the distant. We are its new apprentice now... until maybe Savathun proves to be more worthy of the darkness. We shall see.

There's someone else already falling toward taking the mantle of dark lord for the pyramids/darkness. Don't click below if you don't want some of the lore books spoiled... [spoiler]I don't think the Dark Future storyline is that far off...have had bad vibes about Eris since day 1 and since she's been so obsessed with investigating and using the darkness...won't be the least bit shocked if she's playing the Palpatine long game and takes over the galaxy with dark guardians as the story plays out. It feels like the darkness has always chosen the strongest to represent it, and before that was the hive. Now that we've crushed the hive so many times and Savathun is playing games...the darkness wants guardians to shed the Traveler and take the mantle and Eris has been groomed for this for awhile now.[/spoiler]
