how am I playing gambit on Titan?

The Darkness works in mysterious ways.

They keeped the map since a lot of people like it and it's a nice map to play on. Also those worlds never got destroyed by the darkness, just vaulted them so they can optimize them the the next gen consoles and more powerful pc's.
