Dont punish pve players because pvp players get glitches or overpowered weapons.
👏Separate👏 the 👏 sandboxes👏stop punishing pve and pvp players for whatever reason is wrong on one end and not the other. This is rediculous.

Bungie has stopped caring about its fan base, that much is obvious. I went to infuse my old weapons today after grinding nonstop for good gear and see that they are punishing all players for something that an idiot in crucible did. Bungie it’s not the pve players fault that you guys did an oopsie so don’t punish us.

+1 for PvE or PvP-only gear. I hate the cycle of 1) Grind play mode you don't enjoy to get weapon for play mode you do enjoy followed immediately by (or sometimes before finishing #1) 2) Nerf weapon to be no longer worth the grind from #1 because play mode you don't enjoy exploited weapon

It’s even more awkward when you realize with trials and iron banana not being back for a couple weeks, the crucible hasn’t even seen the full effects of sunsetting!

2 RepliesThey balance separately now. Stop crying. A weapon is broken now so they disabled it for a bit. Kinda like how we went without melee gloves for titans and warlocks for god knows how long before cause of pve...

Tbh the fix is easy. leave the weapons as they are and when you enter gambit / crucible you get a buff/debuff or what ever to call it that will have the current state of the weapons stats in pvp only. i bet thous stasis stuff will be nerfed to the ground cause of pvp. Kinda like what Blizzard did to World of Warcraft with timeless dungeons. cant be that hard to make the same thing just for pvp

I have been hoping they would do this for YEARS But they wont. Because that would require a serious level of effort and consistent attention to two sets of needs and game designs, rather than just making a single universal change. And lets face it, Bungie’s motto at this point is “Whatever’s Easier”

Yet the same time they'll be willing to sacrifice for PVP. This moronic stance needs to end.

5 RepliesPVE players? You mean people that want to always win against the computer but can’t handle getting farmed in pvp? I literally play PVE for crucible gear I haven’t raided since the vanilla destiny 2. I guarantee you I could LFG a group and beat all available raids in the next week. I doubt I could go flawless though. The gunplay in destiny is too good to omit a pvp mode.

3 RepliesThey literally have to time gate you guys from content cause there is not enough of it, have fun grinding bounties for another season this game has bad pve with boring simple builds that a 5 year old could put together, destiny 1 was a hit because they kept it simple and crucible was good, the pvers are only here for a month then the raid gets done and you guys leave till next season, twitch has been booming since trials came out because that's what people like to play pvp.

Now being upset with the glitches I understand. Having access to a super powered weapon bc of a bug/glitch or cheat is super annoying. It seems to happen at least a few times every year. I'm just surprised that this many guns have issues and telesto isn't one of them. You are also right that they do need to separate the sandboxes completely to remove many issues. This thing they do where some parts are separated and others aren't in the same game mode is dumb and must likely causes more strain than need be. But besides that, unless I'm misunderstanding what you said, we all have access to weapons that perform similarly. PvP players don't get access to overpowered weapons that will kill faster than any PvE weapon. Unless you are referring to pinnacle weapons from last season and the seasons before? For every one of those that's available to them, there's one available that you can get in PvE that works just as well, sometimes better. (Mountaintop is an anomaly and an exception just because of micro missile).
