Problem with controller button layout since BL
Hi there,
Since the new Beyond Light update, I've experienced a bug with controller remapping on PS4.
The game seems to think my DS4 is a PS Vita (I believe, after some research, see image) in 'default' settings (R1 shoot, L1 zoom, nothing on R2 or L2, or R3 and L3, which are placed on the D-pad (down and up respectively). And grenade and melee are left and right on my touchpad.
My 'custom' controller layout is listed as the correct one for a DS4, but even when I choose that, it doesn't work, still uses 'default'.
Remapping on my PS4 also doesn't work, because that would be purely for D2, and I cannot remap parts of my touchpad, so grenade and melee would still be stuck there.
I hope you guys got any idea how this is possible. Any help appreciated :)

Edit: forgot a quite important part, this problem occurs while I am trying to play through remote play. Haven't had the chance to play on my PS4 console directly just yet, will update when I can.

As of Dec 27th, the issue still exists. Unable to play D2 because I can't run nor drive the vehicle. This is highly annoying!

My problem also. I'm using Remote Play on macOS High Sierra and after both updates (PS System Software Update and Beyond Light), I can't use the Game Info (touchpad) and directional movement is screwed --- I can only go forward, not side to side. It is not an issue when using the PS4 directly. Bungie and PlayStation, please fix.

Bungie has effectively destroyed my playing enjoyment because of this PS Remote Play button mapping issue. Bungie has effectively destroyed my playing enjoyment of the Collector's Edition of Beyond Light on PS4. Because of their mistake, I've only been able to play on a tiny 6"x3" monitor. I paid $200 for this version & to have this pleasure literally destroyed because they mapped the PS Remote Play buttons incorrectly is incomprehensible. They browse these forums & after this most recent update (3.0.0.1) to only load in & realize that they still have not fixed this, even though there are dozens of posts with hundreds of people with the same issue, is inexcusable. Same problem here. Its only with Remote Play (for me using the official Remote Play App for MacOS with a DualShock Controller connected via USB cable to my Mac). Playing directly on the Console is fine.
