Give bows an adjustment
Bows shouldn’t be an easier to kill sniper. One shot from a bow and your left with a sliver of life. I went from hitting all my shots with Revoker to not being able to hit a single headshot on the Fortress. It was 3v1 solo comp and the player was using a bow and smashed us and won the game. He wasn’t good at all standing out in the open and easy to cut off but he hits one shot with a bow switches to hand canon and gets a ohk from across the map. Bows should be 3 shot like everything else. Can’t understand why Bungie always makes one or two classes way more powerful than the rest. If a player wants to use autos than they should be able to compete. Or a pulse they should be able to go to legend using a pulse. But instead try a pulse in comp now and you get outgunned every time by hand canon or bows.

Edited by AlloyWarrior: 11/12/2020 4:12:51 PMNo. Bows are an alternative, more active form of Sniper, which can’t drop you in a single headshot like a rifle can. The only thing I’d be okay with is adding a small -% penalty to weapon swap speed when using a bow AND a sniper, slightly lessening the chances of switching instantly to a faster weapon and one-tapping the body. Both weapons are skill, reaction and precision-based, and bows are already at a disadvantage compared to guns, needing to charge like a fusion rifle to deal full damage.
