PSA: No Time to Explain Pulse
Hi everyone! I've been seeing this question thrown around a lot and wanted to put up a PSA about it. If you have the pre-requisite expansion to get the NTTE pulse (deluxe edition, etc.), you'll be able to grab the rifle [b]after you've completed the Beyond Light Campaign[/b]. It is not an instant-access reward.
I hope this helps some of you out there! Good luck out there, Guardians!
Edit: the pulse only comes if you got the deluxe or standard+season pass bundled edition. You do not get it if you bought the season pass separately. If you use Gameshare and you were not first to redeem the content, this might also be why you did not receive the pulse.

Guess I'm in the same boat as everyone else.. Bought deluxe edition and still no time to explain.. Beat campaign on all 3 characters and still no gun.. I got the sparrow, ghost shell, and the emote for pre order to but yet still no gun... I just wish we had a way to talk to the devs besides a forum that they will probable never even see... This has Def turned me off of destiny big time... I've been a very loyal player from d1 beta days and this just eats me alive when I feel like they literally just took my money from me...

It's frankly crap that the exotic is only available to people who bought either the deluxe edition or both the expansion and the season pass in a bundle. So if like me, you pre-ordered the expansion and then bought the season pass in-game once the expansion launched you're out of luck and the weapon is unavailable to you. Really gross honestly, it was the one exotic I was looking forward to playing around with this expansion, all because i deigned to puchase the season pass seperately and not throw even more money down for a non-existent product.

So it’s completely fair to people who pre ordered the standard edition AND bought the season pass separately? That makes no sense since I spent the same amount of money as someone who bought the deluxe.. really scammy of you bungo

1 ReplyI just wanted to toss my 2 cents in. Bungie, just to be clear here I ordered the expansion, deluxe via steam. On STEAMS site, when viewing the expansion, under read more, it states: -Included with the Deluxe Edition (INCLUDED) "Access to Seasons 12-15, the No Time to Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle, ornament, catalyst, and the Any Other Sky Exotic Sparrow. Digital Deluxe edition owners also receive in access to the new Exotic Freeze Tag emote." Now, for one, I can't access those items on multiple characters. I get the idea of dropping something into your vault to access across characters- but that wasn't my understanding. If I have 3 chars and want the sparrow for each.... why can I not.....it only gave me such for the first char who accessed it.... More concerning to me is the way that is all phrased. Nothing on steam denotes "but first you have to complete the entire campaign". It says INCLUDED ACCESS. I have the seasons, I have the sparrow- so why in gods name would it be phrased as a lump of offerings when in reality we literally do not get the key items until we have gone through the entire campaign? To be completely honest, that's why I bought deluxe. There is nothing more I would have gained short of the seasons- which I truly don't care about..... So, I get that after the fact we ALL now know we have to complete the camp..... My point is I, we, only find that out after the money we paid is in your bank account.... That's why I'm not happy about how this was explained. Now, maybe this is allllll steams fault, fine. Tell me that so I can contact the proper person. I know it seems trivial, but I paid $70. The entire reason I got this version was because of what I THOUGHT i was going to get. That has not been true, nor was it referenced otherwise on steam. Could I have missed such? Sure. But the point remains- all someone had to do was add some bloody context and everyone would have understood this. It could have easily read "Access to NTTE pulse rifle once the campaign is completed, other players without the deluxe edition will not gain access upon completing the campaign." Yea..... not really thrilled about the way this all rolled out right now.... great game.... crap details and explanation on steam.

I bought the delux version. I have the emote the sparrow and the emblem. When i go to my collections to view the no time to explain it's not there. from what I understand it's supposed to be right after the travelers judgment. the other new exotics are there and I even got the shotty. I am at a loss I deleted the entire game and reinstalled and still nothing.

Para mim isso é errado e a Bungie não dá explicação. Se tem que terminar a temporada para receber o brinde essa informação não foi divulgada.

We all know that, the problem is the game is glitched and many of us have completed the main campaign and half the additional quests and still not received it, bungie has even acknowledged this is a known problem. So your PSA basically just shows how clueless you are about what's going with the game
