At the Skywatch loadzone there is a cave with a golden chest, but in the entrance there are old hive remains and then interacting with them spawns a witch and an audio clip about Ra’ ul it sounds like.
I know the loot cave i’m just pointing out the remains part.
At the Skywatch loadzone there is a cave with a golden chest, but in the entrance there are old hive remains and then interacting with them spawns a witch and an audio clip about Ra’ ul it sounds like.
This post brought me back to some really good nostalgia. Destiny 2014 was an incredible time. 😁

Edited by Guardian9324: 11/12/2020 1:49:12 PMI didn’t see anyone add that the legendary’s at destiny launch could turn into blues Edit: scratch that I found some other poor souls that have the ptsd

3 RepliesAt destiny 1’s launch that was known as the loot cave. Guardians would camp it for hours watching engrams drop, collect them and bring them back to the cryptarch. The crypt arch is the same one in destiny 2, master rahool. After Bungie made it so the loot cave wasn’t so plentiful they added that as a nod to how many enemies were killed in order to get engrams. Hence “a million deaths is not enough for master rahool”

Literally the first cheese of the franchise. Ah yes the legendary loot cave.... want to know why it was so legendary? Because it was the quickest way to get weapons and armor. By standing like 30ft from that cave and kill the endless waves of adds hoping to get drops. During those times, legendaries would or could turn out to be blues or greens. exotics would or could turn out to be legendary or blues or greens. Good times

For those who only started in D2: this prompt is a reference to Destiny 1. The cave was used to farm loot due to how it spawned enemies. Players could stand at a safe distance and kill the enemies as they spawned getting tons of loot. It was later patched and a prompt was added inside that referenced the infamous farm.
