I just happened to glance at the enemy tracker on the Kill Tracker Ghost today, and my guardian has killed nearly 290k Fallen, Hive, Cabal, Vex, and Taken over the past four years. That's with me playing semi-casually since year one. Compare that to all of the other guardians in the lore, and only Saint 14 comes close, with his roughly 30k Vex from the Infinite Forest . . .
Also, our collective Guardian has canonically killed the following OP enemies:
*1 Heart of Darkness
*Multiple Hive Princes/Princesses/warriors (Malok, Hashladun, Omnigul, Phogoth, Etc.)
*3 Hive demigods (Crota, Nokris 2 times, Dul Incaru)
*2 Hive gods both killed and turned into guns (Oryx twice and Xol twice)
*3 Countless Fallen Kells, Archons, Prime Servitors, and the first Kell of Kells: Skolas
*Aksis, the Fallen techno-god
*Randal the Vandal, Greg the Dreg, and Hank the Shank (yes, they count as fallen gods)
*Like half the Cabal, including most of the Dust Giants, Sand Eaters, Blind Legion, Red Legion, Loyalists, Siege Dancers, and some of the Skyburners (Oryx got the rest)
*Multiple supposedly unkillable Vex Minds (Atheon, Undying Mind twice, Panoptes, Gatelords, the Core Mind of Nessus, etc.)
*Like half the inmates in the PoE
*All of the Scorned Barons (The fanatic multiple times), and a large portion of the Scorn
*Dominus Gaul, the only non-guardian to wield light
*A wish dragon
*Thousands of Calus robots
*Galrahn
*The big stompy servitor from SoTP
*Multiple Cabal HVTs (Shield Brothers, Thumos, Val Ca'uor)
I'm probably forgetting some and I intentionally left out spoilers for Beyond Light, but the point stands. Lore wise, we are the most powerful being in the universe second only to the Darkness and Traveler.
Edit: Plus, we've only ever died once in canon. That was the time we fell 20 stories in the PoE

2 RepliesYeah and then were stuck fighting a half ass wanna be boss on Europa? LOL LOL come on! They need to make bosses who are alien and a different race or a mash up of all of em. We need to fight gods and huge monsters and not Eramis who could get beat by one person in a campaign.

*Looks at my 300k+ kills with night stalker alone.* Yeah, that tracks.

Lore: Has killed multiple literal gods Gameplay: Killed in 1 hit by a turtle with a shield

Edited by Knightlight: 11/12/2020 6:44:24 PMWe're basically master chief as described in the books and all the other gaurdians are locke. That's why I'm afraid of any cut scenes with our gaurdian. They simply wouldn't do them justice do to how powerful we are.
-
I try to think of it more like different guardians did different things. Like one guardian killed Ghaul, Ponipoptes, and Xol. Someone else killed the scorn barons, someone else did shadowkeep ect.
-
2 RepliesDude we're the chosen one Wanna know what funny about that? Both our source of power AND mortal enemy consider us that That's like Voldemort praising Harry Potter
-
1 ReplyThe most powerful beings in the Destiny Universe are The Architects and the game modifiers, Mr.Glass and Sir Blackout.
-
Just remember all that when reading the alternate timeline. We were one of those dark guardians according to the Exo Stranger and that means we were the ones who turned on the Traveler.
-
1 ReplyI mean u could just say crota, oryx, aksis, atheon, and riven and that be enough lol Right now our throne world would be somewhere around the size of Texas
-
2 RepliesGoing off that list we'd have one hell of an ascendant realm.
-
dude named all these enemies and then says “like half the cabal” lmao
-
7 RepliesI remember reading something that was from a pov of a vandal saying something along the lines of seeing a guardian pull out a gun that turned everyone to molten lava, so they ran as fast as they could and never looked back. That made me think about how op we are and that we are really walking the fine line between killing machine and "gaurdian" Also considering were so damn strong why do species continually start war with us? It'd be like if one country declared war on all of nato. They're gonna lose

4 RepliesLore-wise? Bro, lore-wise Guardians are -blam!-ing pathetic. Taeko and her team couldn’t kill a Hive Shreiker.
-
Why do public events exist? Just seems like enemies throwing themselves at us lol.
-
Lore-wise vs. Game-wise it's upsetting. We're like anime character strong lore wise but in game we're trash.

Not to mention all of those were supposed to be able to die The Templar and atheon should not have died Only thru the most deus ex machina did they die
-
8 Replies*Laughs in 1,762,529 recorded kills*
-
I can’t even put another patch on my guardians Letterman jacket.
-
5 RepliesWell, keep in mind that every time we die in a darkness zone would be a permanent death. Though I guess the entire point of the story is that we’ve done all that...
Sorry, all out of salt.
-
Saviour of the greatest titan who ever lived saint-14, like jesus christ we gonna have a whole library full of just names of gods and wanna be’s in them
-
3 RepliesJust do you know fallen also had light once
-
I've always understood our guardian as being Doomguy level powerful. Or at the very least pretty close. We can -blam!- gods.
-
1 ReplyYeah, no, we're lore-breakingly strong. Everything is supposed to be a threat, but we just steamroll the shit out of it no matter what it is.
