What is the point of telling everyone to off load their vaulted destination mats if you can still spend them for endgame mats like A.S.? And Spider isn't selling them, so do I have to bug Osiris for some or what.
Figured the first day of BL I could grab a couple golf balls...

Fine have exchange rates for those select few that had massive stock piles of currency but why punish everyone else. I have not even seen any of the old map currency showing up on Spider's vending list since launch of Beyond Light but I see it is still a required currency from Banshee-44 and today both options for Upgrade Modules require the dead currency locking me out of upgrading anything. A total crock of chit Bungle I mean Bungie.

1 ReplyThey said mats will be useable this season 12 but next season 13 they won’t be usable anymore
-
2 RepliesYeah I noticed this as well. I needed a couple to MW a thing, and to get a old pinnacle, but I guess not. They might have overlooked that, or maybe they think some still hold simulation seeds
-
11 RepliesYou can tell they rushed everything. They even delayed the DLC like a month. And things still seem completely rushed and mismanaged.

Personally none of the planetary materials that can't be farmed should'nt be used in this game moving forward. Sure the TWAB states in season 13 this will be the case, but for this season we are stuck because these materials can't be got except from spider at highly inflated prices. The other thing that pisses me off is enhancement prisms cost 400 Legendary Shards... WTF. It is easier to farm enhancement cores and buy them from Banshee at a fraction of the cost. The materials economy in Beyond Light is a trash fire and you need to fix this BUNGO!!!!
-
2 RepliesIt still cost 10 enhancement prisms, right? Why even go through the gunsmith then, even if you have planetary mats?
-
they said to use them up this season were in now, no good in season 13. I saved mine for upgrade modules, yup working as intended

With several destinations going into the Destiny Content Vault, many of you have been wondering what is going to happen to the currencies found in the areas currently underneath the Pyramids. The simple answer is that there are no changes to these currencies in Season of the Hunt, and you will be able to continue to spend them at vendors normally. Starting in Season 13, Phaseglass Needles, Alkane Dust, Simulation Seeds, and Seraphite will be no longer accepted by vendors. For those of you that still have unspent stockpiles at the end of Season of the Hunt, Spider will be kind enough to offer a small Glimmer exchange to take them off your hands. But you’ll realize the best value by spending them before that point, so make sure you turn in your stockpiles before the end of next Season.
source: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/49722 Looks like you didn't read the TWAB
-
They said that they would go away in season 13 and you should use them up in season 12 with the vendors.
-
1 ReplyYeah, now glimmer is for phaseglass? WTF Bungie, you tell us to get rid of our old materials, so we do. Then we find out we need them, and can't get any more? Bad call, Bungie.
-
2 RepliesIt's not supposed to be a troll. It's so people have a grace period to spend their materials before they are hard removed from your inventory. Only thing it's gonna do if you don't have any is make you wait a day to buy a golf ball. You'll be fine.
-
3 RepliesSpider sells planetary materials i think.
-
5 RepliesRight. I got rid of all of my materials already too. I thought they’re were going away at the end of last season. I guess I read it wrong.
-
1 ReplyThat was a pretty good troll on their part. Dirty -blam!-.
-
Spider wasn't going to sell golf balls just enhancement cores and enhancement prisms
-
Maybe check today after reset? Pretty sure they will do like previous season and rotate which mats are required after the weekly or daily reset. Ie: yesterday requires sim seeds and today requires data lettuce.
-
1 ReplyThey said end of this season to spend them by, not last season
-
... They explicitly stated in the patch notes that the first after vaulting the materials could still be used
-
4 RepliesThey said season 12 would remain unchanged, but to use them before season 13.
