I never thought Variks could be adorable
I was standing next to him and he tried to sing. He gave up after a few words because he forgot how the song went.
Well anyways, if anyone else hears it, think you can figure out what he is trying to sing?

I caught this part and took note. I missed the last bit, but I know it included "pink" and I think "sky". After a bit of googling I learned that the Eliksni home planet, Riis, had a pink sky. I found this post looking for anyone who had taken note of the lyrics. Sorry I didn't catch it all, but I have a terrible memory and by the time I got something pulled up to take note, I was starting to lose some of it. I also found "Taps" by googling the lyrics: "[u]Day is done[/u], gone the sun, From the lake, from the hills, from the sky; All is well, safely rest, God is nigh. Fading light, dims the sight, And a star gems the sky, gleaming bright. From afar, drawing nigh, falls the night. Thanks and praise, for our days, 'Neath the sun, 'neath the stars, neath the sky; As we go, this we know, God is nigh. [u]Sun has set[/u], shadows come, Time has fled, Scouts must go to their beds Always true to the promise that they made. While the light fades from sight, And the stars gleaming rays softly send, To thy hands we our souls, Lord, commend. " After reading the lyrics, it seems Taps has a heavy theme of light/shadow. Also all I know about Taps is that it's military related irl, so pre-golden age. Perhaps in-lore it was still something people used by the time the Eliksni showed up... or maybe I'm looking into this waaaay too hard, and it's just a nice little easter egg. Either way, I got way too hung up on this specific line of dialogue from my boy Variks.
