Only Europa and Cosmodrone Textures are flickering. Nessus, Moon, Tower, EDZ are fine. Running two 1080s in SLI and the issue seems to be fixed by disabling a card and only running one. But losing out on 60 fps and drops to 30s. Updated my graphics card drivers and redownloaded the update again (Version 457.30). Also tried lowering all video settings (Resolution, texture quality, etc.) and disabling AA but no luck.
Game was running slik smooth at 60 FPS capped yesterday.

Anyone else having this issue with SLI with Beyond Light?

Edited by Eco: 12/8/2020 5:35:40 PMI'm having this issue to. I'm running 2 1080s and when the game forced me into the first level after I played the game yesterday this was god awful. Textures were flickering and it looked like there was a second version of the ground flickering in and out of existence over the ground that was already there. Usually I'm annoyed at the whole "letting you play the first level for free" thing, cause I don't like starting a story only to not be able to keep going and finish it and doing other stuff in-between, but in this case I'm glad it did, I'm not buying Beyond Light until this shit gets sorted out, whether I use 1 or 2 graphics cards shouldn't effect the game like this and Bungie need to get their priorities straight and fix these bugs as soon as possible. Edit: Welp, NVM, same day I decide to make this comment it gets fixed. Nice.

1 ReplyHi. I appreciate you reporting this issue to us. We're aware that it's occurring and we're investigating.

Edited by 3-1337: 11/22/2020 10:42:19 AMUnfortunately I am getting this too. It seems to be the new "deep snow" textures flashing constantly. It seems these affected textures can only be drawn on one GPU - the higher the FPS, the faster the flicker and vice versa. On 2 x 1080 Ti here, playing in 2160p where it is absolutely necessary to have SLI working to maintain 60FPS at the highest settings.

Edited by NephilimDrayk: 11/20/2020 2:54:33 AMUpon Further examination, it is the SLI, in your nvidia control panel if you disable SLI it stops the graphics glitches

Edited by Kill_The_Dead: 11/14/2020 5:28:19 PMI've been having the exact same visual issue, I will say It's odd though that only Europa and Cosmodrone has this issue. It's almost a relief to know that I'm not the only one, I've been pulling out my hair trying different Nvidia drivers, I even went as far to attempted a clean install of everything but Windows. Specs: OS: Windows 10 Home Graphics Cards: 1x EVGA 980ti FTW (SLI) 1x EVGA 980it SC (SLI) Processor: i7 4970k - 4.00 GHz Ram: Kingston Hyperx DDR3 2x 8GB 1866MHz Storage: Kingston 240GB SSD Power Suppy: EVGA SuperNova G1 1000W '80 Plus Gold'

Edited by Yui: 11/14/2020 7:35:07 AMHorrible flickering here too, if I set single-GPU mode in nvidia control panel it fixes it but obviously performance is terrible. The game worked great before and it's a big shame. It does it in windowed and fullscreen, makes no difference. Took the video on my phone just to make it easier to upload. i9 7980XE MSI X299 Creation 2x Asus Strix 1080 Ti OC Acer X27

Same issue here, makes the game unplayable in some moments because everything is just so flickery
-
SLI optimization is on the backburner as they make engine changes. Doubt SLI will honestly ever get enough attention to warrant fixing this. SLI is dead
-
Same here. Two 980ti in sli. Flickery af.

Have the same issue. It’s quite the let down and yeah it’s the two added locations only.

1 ReplyNot a single person I know has mentioned this on Xbox and everything looks fine Perhaps a Steam glitch again?
-
1 ReplyRedownloaded the whole game this morning and will see if that does anything after work today. I swore Bungie was going to keep supporting SLI this release but can't find anything online stating that. If not, time to upgrade to a single GPU I guess.

i dont think destiny supports sli nor does nvidia with driver updates for games anymore
