Warlocks in PvP are ...still awful
Christ Bungie, you can’t give us anything can you?
Hunters’s super is ridiculous
Titans are sponging loads and roaming 30 seconds +
Meanwhile, the warlock super is just, meh.
Edit - Don’t get me wrong, I love Stasis, I’m all for broken stupid things, but just try to keep the classes within throwing distance of each other.

1 ReplyDude if u go into competitive Crucible 3/5 players will be running warlock. Not to mention that warlocks with Nova or Well excel in PvE and are a top tier choice for raids and nightfalls.

So the warlock instant freeze melee, super that can freeze everyone from a far distance along with the stasis grenade wasn’t breaking the game ? Warlock super is roaming too so idk what you are playing

That’s just how warlock works these days. The best subclasses to use in pvp have bad supers, but they excel in neutral game. Top tree dawnblade for instance is a worse version of bottom tree dawnblade, but the air dodge and melee more than make up for the bad super. Stasis works the same way. Warlock stasis melee is absolutely nuts. If we have to sacrifice our super to have an op melee then it’s worth it

Idk how they manage to make a warlock super (actual super) as bad as top tree dawn, or nova warp but this stasis is the absolute worst. No mobility at all and a 2 hit kill minimum

This must be a joke, because anytime you load into trials, its a bunch of warlocks stiff-arming each other using op abilities. Its ridiculous. Just learn how to use the right class in PvP because warlocks are on top of the food chain right now.

1 ReplyWarlock super's only downside is no mobility options. Its efficient at at taking care of multiple Guardians, and can basically counter every single super in the game that isn't golden gun or Dawnblade. Melee supers don't stand a chance whatsoever, and one-off supers can probably be frozen mid-casting animation, meaning it can probably counter those too. I've witnessed Panduh take care of both a fist of havoc and a spectral blades within one super with ease. That can't be said for most other roaming supers. The melee can basically shutdown any melee super that comes your way just as with the super, as long as you have decent aim with it and a good special that can take advantage of the enemy super being frozen. It can also basically guarantee you every 1v1 CQC fight provided you have proper spacing against shotguns and aren't being too predictable with it. Primary gunfights at close range? Who cares about those when you have this melee. The melee is beyond broken at the moment. Grenades -- don't really have any comments because I'm only aware of the ice wall for Warlocks, and I'm pretty sure they share most nades with the other classes. Aspects and Fragments -- again, not sure about these since I haven't seen warlock with those special abilities yet. Keep in mind this review of the subclass is just at the base level of stasis. So, the class's only weakness is no mobility options in neutral or in super. Besides that, this easily seems like a very strong subclass option in Beyond Light, and may actually in my opinion be the best stasis subclass out of all the other classes. I've seen Titan -- wasn't very impressed. Hunter, I've seen a bit but will need to look over it later. All in all, Warlocks did not get shafted with ShadeBinder. You're just terrible with it.

I wish they would separate pvp and give u a locker or something just for pvp gear. And have supers just for pvp, trying to get the 2 (pvp & pve) to mix makes both lesser for trying it that way. Just my opinion though.

2 RepliesYou must suck at being a warlock then. Top tree Dawn Blade is absolutely amazing. Not to mention warlocks mobility is insanely good. Can’t tell you how many times warlocks have disappeared when I popped my super. Titans are inconsistent out side of middle tree striker. I have to deal with horrible hit detection on sentinel titan.

A lot of people are talking about all the advantages warlocks have, but I think the problem is that it takes a while to learn how to use them properly, whereas hunters and titans have simpler abilities that you can pick up fast. So if you mastered the warlock abilities, you could be better than both classes, but it would be hard to get to that point.
