L2 and R2 and L3 and R3 Buttons are not working during gameplay.
Everything works normally with regards to navigation and whatnot.
Once I select a place to go, anywhere on the map, that area loads and it is like the controller does not recognize the L2, R2, L3 or R3 buttons.
I have tried using different buttons configurations for the controller and have always reset everything to default.
Regardless, I can not get any action out of those buttons which makes gameplay impossible.
On the World view for desitnations, I CAN hit "L2" to reveal the side bar with current season missions, etc. So I know that the buttons seem to be responding. Just not when I actually need to shoot something, throw a grenade, run, or use the super.

In the controller settings screen, the game doesn't seem to recognize the L2 / L3 and R2 / R3 Buttons at all. L2 and R2 is working fine for navigating in the menu screens, but they don't do anything in-game. Same goes for L3 and R3. Also, the touch pad button only works when you press it in the top center of the button - which is somewhat weird, and not normal. In other games though, all buttons work as they're supposed to. Playing directly on my PS4, all controllers and buttons are working fine.

This is still occurring. I have seen notes on updating but that is not available. Im at version 2.0.1 or something like that. Please let me know if there are other things I can try. Interestingly enough, when I tried again today, I noticed the center 'pressure pad' actually works to throw grenades... so that is not right at all. Its like the code is not aware of the controller layout. Only looks to happen in game though. Very strange. Overall unplayable.

I wanted to be able to switch between my energy and power weapon a lot faster so I mapped it like this. Switch between Kinetic and Energy: Not mapped. Switch to Power: Not Mapped. Switch to Kinetic: Triangle (Long Hold) Switch to Energy: Triangle (Press) Switch to Power: Triangle (Press) Expectations: Pressing triangle switches between energy and power and holding it brings up the kinetic. What really happens: Pressing triangle switches to the power weapon but does not switch to the energy weapon when pressed again. Holding it switches to the kinetic weapon. I even checked to make sure there were no conflictions and there weren’t any.

Deleted the game and reinstalled... not fixed what the hell bungie

Looking at the other button configs - none have L2, R2, L3 or L3 configured. It’s like the game is messed up.
