I’ve found armor 2.0 to be significantly more restrictive than the original armor system and it seems that it will only see mild improvement in Beyond Light.
The fact that all points between increments of ten are literally useless pains me to no end. A point total of 35 on a stat is just a complete waste of 5 points.
I’ve found that once I finally get my stats to where I want them after farming armor for months I can’t easly change up my armor set without severely messing with my desired build. Aka i use one set of armor. And for someone who previously enjoyed wearing different armor sets for different situations and different aesthetics, it really drains some of the enjoyment of the game for me.
Armor 2.0 still sucks. Freeing up mods is great but the systems that was supposed let us ‘play how we want to play’ has truly done the exact opposite. We need control over our stats and we need a way to ensure that we can obtain good armor stats without grinding endlessly.
At least transmog will let us look the way we want to (hopefully). But thats only half the battle here.

7 RepliesActually the system gives you much more control over your loadout than Armor 1.0.
