Does Trinity Ghoul’s amazing catalyst give it the number one spot in the exotic bow ranking list?

Now it is ridiculously easy, and although I absolutely LOVE the bow, it would not surprise me to see it tuned down a little. Even though it isn’t the boss slayer it is easily one of the most effective method for plowing through sh!t. Now you don’t even need to be patient.

Leviathan's Breath should be included in this discussion. 1 phase, 1 shot Pyramidian strike boss instant melt
-
for low rank crowd control. yes.
-
In pve? Yes. Pvp? No. Way too inconsistent.
-
4 RepliesIn special slot yes for pve, le monarque is better for pvp imo Overall best exotic bow damage still sits with leviathans breath Wish ender I don't have so can't compare but I'd say from reading others opinions on it its more a pvp contender
-
Yes and it's not particularly close lol. It's such a monster. They would literally have to give Le Monarque the same perk as the new warlock gauntlets with a built in debuff or something to even make it comparable.
-
by far the best Exotic bow, no comparison, the ad clear is so much fun, that's what all catalyst should do for there weapon make them freakin awesome
-
I, it's the best bow to steal kills from your fireteam and with the catalyst, make endless motes of light.
-
6 RepliesI miss the broken version of wishender tbh

Edited by Starstriker7: 11/9/2020 6:52:00 AMI’d say the key word is situational. In some situations it is unbeatable. When the catalyst got the update I went to Altar of Sorrows and single handedly stopped swarms of ads from making it anywhere basically. In other situations though, it will get outshone by others. I personally love Wishender in PvP because of wallhacks and just how it feels. Others definitely have more success with Le Monarque in PvP. And others find Leviathan’s breath more tanky in PvE.

Edited by Swiftlock: 11/9/2020 3:24:17 AMIn endgame content with champions and hyper-tanky enemies, it quickly becomes underwhelming. In PvP, it's also situational since it has a conditional exotic perk. So, "best bow"? Nope. Le Monarque is better in PvP. Leviathan's Breath has utility in PvE, PvP and Gambit.

2 RepliesMy first time in pvp with the catalyst got a we ran medal and vaulted it for fear of being reported because I was ripping 3 heads off with 1 shot and holding half the other team in spawn by myself. PvE yeah its fantastic easily my favourite pve bow
-
Depends. On Stormcaller bottom tree with getaway artist it's a true op killing machine. If you want straight up damage to single targets Wish Ender is better.
-
*best boy
-
Yes, even in pvp it is a game changer when you get the perk rolling.
-
1 ReplyWishender, Leviathans Breath and Le Monarque are all far better for pvp, but trinity ghoul is probably the best non boss dps pve weapon
-
Trinity Ghoul best for PvE. Le Monarque is best for PvP.
-
With the catalyst, it is definitely the best PVE bow for my Getaway Artist wielding Warlock: providing Arc damage is what I’m after. Sometimes I want a Void bow. It isn’t my first bow choice with either my Hunter or my Titan.
-
it shreds in pve. its borderline OP
-
1 ReplyAll the exotic bows are phenomenal in my opinion.
-
1 ReplyPvE 100%, Le Monarqe is easily the best for pvp. Personally don’t like Levi’s breath, I feel its a waste of an exotic weapon
-
1 ReplyYes...unless it is match game with all void shields....looking at you there corrupted !!!!
-
2 RepliesNo only because it absolutely sucks in PvP. Once Le Monarque has its catalyst it’ll be the best.

1 ReplyEdited by Stalwart81: 11/7/2020 11:00:33 PMIt’s definitely really good, especially for add clearing. But my favorite is point of the stag. Le monarch is also really good in PvP
