Real hunter mains arent crying about nerf.
Let's just say it is a 4 second nerf. Is that something we have to cry about? As a hunter main, our dodge coming back EVERY 9 seconds is a tad bit broken. Especially when we pair that with wormhusk 🤣, not to mention our dodge in Beyond Light SLOWS enemies down.
Like, come one everyone chill 😂 we have plenty of builds that will help counteract this. Plus in the next update, our builds get even stronger with all the mod ideas they're bringing in BL. To me, this just says Hunters are going strong af next season. We might even get another nerf after more ppl start crying a week into BL.
And yes top tree dawn is annoying to deal with, these MFS have built-in twilight garrison 😭. BUT it doesn't break aim assist like hunter dodge.

1 ReplyAhhhh save me the crap .. hunter has a fast dodge because it's THE ONLY GOOD ABILITY WE HAVE!!!! we don't have nades that get 5 kills like arc web, or insta kill melee without aim like shoulder charge! Or walls to res team mates, or health replenishment in a rift that closes down a lane.... Our nades are trash, supers are not that good (yes spectral is good bit hit registration bis frustrating)... Hunter with a longer dodge bis going to bring the entire class down ...

1 ReplyJust seems like they don't want me to use Hunter. Fine🤷♂️ I've gotten that feeling from Bungie for quite a few years now. Guess I'll use something that is actually broken and in the hands of a long time veteran like me? I'll make it more so since i won't have a handicap on me anymore.

We always find a way to make the most of it since D1, and somehow still come out on top as the best pvp class, or at least the most popular one to use in pvp Besides this nerf isnt really that impactful than what people make it seem to be. Weve been hit WAY worse than this

There’s this warlock class, right, top tree dawnblade... And it’s instantly the fastest class in the game with no exotics or distinct stat spreads... And with transversive steps, you can reload your weapons ever <9 seconds with NO cooldown... It’s almost like... Top tree dawn is simply better than the entire hunter class for competitive PvP, and a nerf to hunter dodge while solar plexus top tree dawn degenerates still exist is just “season 10 600rpm auto rifle buff” levels of braindead coming from Bungie.

5 Replies*Sigh* Any real hunter main isn’t using wormhusk. That being brought up shows just how out of touch those players are... No Hunter mains aren’t crying. We are used to getting nerfed every single patch. We’ll survive and get nerfed next season again most likely. Let’s see how long our stasis class lasts...

12 RepliesI play all three classes, hunter the most, and the only reason why I’m tilted about that nerf is because warlock top tree is still the best tree without question. The nerf to hunters was obviously because of stasis so we’ll have to see if losing that 4 seconds is worth it

1 ReplyA Hunter with honor and honesty. Nice to meet yah. Also Icarus dash is only available on one perk tree out of nine, doesn't break tracking or reload weapons or have any accompanying exotics. Top tree dawn is the only solid PVP class Warlocks even have so hopefully people will see all that and get over it. Either that or if they do nerf it then they need some major buffs elsewhere.

1 ReplyI'm calling it now, this nerf will be just enough to drive Hunter mains to give TT - Warlocks, a try (if they haven't already) and the Crucible will be an absolute headache.

I can understand this for pc but on console there’s so much aim assist is isn’t uncommon for me to get domed out of a dodge, it’s not a big deal and it’s nice to not have an omega dumb nerd on hunters for once. I just hate that it took them over a year to make oem reasonable but they nerfed spectral and it’s exotic within the season.
