I wish Bungie would bring back the Destiny 1 subclass format because then every player could truly have their own style in their supers and abilities.

1 ReplySo you ask or complain about this a week before we get a new subclass that will have some customization. Yeah it may not be D1, it could be better or fit D2 better. Or maybe it won't. Bungie said they will test the new system out with 1 subclass and may in the future apply it to others. I'm just perplexed at your timing. After 3 years and a week before we finally get customization with subclasses.

3 RepliesYeah. My Sunbreaker was unstoppable, I used Dunemarchers. Now I’m Striker with Skullfort. Same loadout. Auto, sidearm and rocket/sword
-
2 RepliesNo. But only because it would need a big rework to be anything but another topic of complaining 2 months after its luster wore off. D1's system didn't offer enough customization for the RPG side of the game--and it's UI was terrible since it was the equivalent of a "choose your own periodic table" adventure.
-
And the D1 armor stat system. Move Mobility, Resilience, and Recovery adjustments back to the skill trees. D2 armor has too many stats for RNG to be viable.
-
4 RepliesI miss the old weapon system for kinetic primaries and elemental secondaries and heavies

1 ReplyWe're listening. -Bungie. Not. -Bungie

3 RepliesBring back my self res so I can go back to being a warlock main...
-
5 RepliesI believe they stated when they announced Stasis that they will see how well the community takes it, then they will look into re-tooling the old subclasses.
-
Stasis is a test for a new system. If we like it, they will probably stick with it.

9 Repliesno D1 needs to die and stay dead

Edited by thatdudeEd54: 11/6/2020 8:22:10 PMI would like Arcblade and Radiance back. Not necessary to have them in the game but it would be nice if we cpuld use all our powers in 1 game. I know Spectral Blades (or Arcstaff) are pretty much reworks and improvements of the original Arcblade, same with with Well of Radiance being a rework of just Radiance. Still would be nice to aimply have the option. Doesnt hurt anyone imo

2 RepliesExcept it was never like that. It was what ever was overpowered or broken was used and everyone fell in line with it because if you didn’t you were kicked from raid groups or pvp groups. So no it doesn’t. At least everyone is on an equal playing field when it comes to abilities and supers. It just depends on how you use them. So no the weapon system has already been reverted back to destiny 1 and it’s creating more probable within pvp at the moment.

3 RepliesLMAO at the low IQs on here. do you people even read shit on here?
-
2 RepliesSpectral blades with tether and smoke bombs and invisibility. Tether, slash, get invisible.
-
Stasis is an experimental version of something closer to this so never change element off stasis and bungie will likely edit other 3 to mimic stasis model at some point in future. General complexity seems higher than D1 from what I’ve seen since it appears to offer more combinations. One aspect of d1 classes won’t come back since it was put into armor, but that was only really useful to change to me when I couldn’t jump high enough due to lack of mobility.
-
Tbh, judging by the way the darkness subclass looked, it seemed like it was going down that path of customisation just like D1, maybe even a tad more in-depth too. Hope they do consider it, gameplay would feel unique in both PvE and PvP.
-
this could be a possibility in the future. Just gotta see if aspects and fragments are a good system (granted anything is better than what we have rn)
-
1 ReplyWould be the most awesomest thing ever bungie would do.
-
Rofl bro people just copied youtubers, and we are getting customization.
-
hell no
-
And yet most people used the same builds anyway because there was always an optimal path. Save for those times when you just wanted to mess around. I'm not saying I don't want customizable trees. Because the system right now is crap. I'm excited to see how aspects and fragments work for stasis and I hope they will be a big improvement.

3 RepliesStasis format seem better, no more “Angry Magic” perks cluttering with the good perks
-
1 ReplySo nerf fusion rifles?
-
Yeah it did have way more room for individual customization, didn’t it 🤔
-
I think that's what's coming.
-
I will agree to this after I get experience with the new Stasis subclass. If it turns out to be better than I want all current Subclasses to be shifted in the Stasis format
