A meter is roughly 3 feet. But in Destiny 2, they apparently think a meter is exactly 1 foot.
Something with a range of 10 meters has a range of about 10 feet in this game. In reality, 10 meters is closer to 32 feet, but no. In this game, 10 meters is barely any range.
The proof of this? Find an objective marker that tells you how far you are from it.
You can be standing 2 feet away, and it'll say 2 meters. 3 feet, 3 meters. It's ridiculous.
Bungie needs to learn how to measure distance.

6 RepliesMust be a slow day on the forums to be criticizing measurement.

It's just a unit of measurement that their game uses. A game meter doesn't equal an actual meter; it's just there for in-game measurement because you need something to measure by, and they didn't want to just call them "units"

6 RepliesKinda knitpicky but fair enough.

5 RepliesTo be fair, the amount of steps you take are not equal to a foot measurement. Feet would be heel-to-toe, but you have to remember to account for stride and movement speed.
