This is pretty important to me as a player who constantly grinds legitimately to go flawless and should be brought up before Beyond Light drops. I know quite a few people who have been doing ghost lobbies to earn free flawless in less than 10 minutes and think this is ok. Now it wouldn’t be as bad if it was just them doing this right? No. These people are reaching out to AS MANY PEOPLE to get free flawless using ghost lobbies starting when Beyond Light drops for free adept weapons and mods.
Now most people say I’m just being religious over the game and I’m salty because I’ve only been flawless 6 times but you know what? What is the point of Trials of Osiris when this exists. Bungie might as well open the lighthouse for anyone to travel into and grab the flawless chest every week if they don’t do anything about this. Even Adept weapons that are meant for those skilled enough to go flawless every week are now gonna just be no more than a world drop if these people are out there doing ghost lobbies for every person and earning free flawless and adept loot. I know I’m ranting but honestly does anyone else agree?
I’m not exactly sure how the ghost lobbies work exactly and I’ve been offered multiple times to which I’ve turned down each and every time with an extra note of question to why these people would be doing this. The problem is though. Even if these people have their accounts banned and such. They can still make alt accounts and do this for other people and to which they have admitted to doing so.
Honestly it would be such a shame if this goes unnoticed but it’s not like I can do much of anything about it. If you see this let me know what you think about this problem.
Thanks

My friends and I have been playing Destiny 2 for a long time, and when it comes to Trials of Osiris, we all know how tough it can be to go flawless. We've been through the grind, and honestly, it’s exhausting. The constant pressure, the highly skilled teams we face, and the need for perfect coordination can take the fun out of it. That’s why we decided to start using Trials flawless services. At first, we were hesitant. I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of trying to go flawless with my team, but after countless weekends of barely scraping by or getting wiped out by pro-level players, we realized it just wasn’t worth the frustration. So, we tried the flawless service, and it changed everything. Now, we can enjoy the rewards of Trials without the constant stress. It’s a relief to get to the Lighthouse and collect those adept weapons and mods without hours of painful losses. One of the biggest reasons we turned to this service was time. We all have busy schedules, and dedicating an entire weekend to Trials just to try and go flawless became less appealing. With the flawless carry, we save time and still get to enjoy the best rewards Destiny 2 has to offer. It’s not that we don’t want to improve as players, but sometimes, it’s just easier to let the professionals handle it so we can focus on other aspects of the game that we love. Using this service has allowed us to stay competitive without burning out. Instead of dreading Trials weekends, we look forward to getting our rewards quickly and then spending the rest of our time exploring new content, raiding, or just having fun with other activities in the game. For us, it’s been a win-win.

13 RepliesQuit crying. You're probably so dweeb doing paid carries. It's no more cheating than what they have all the time.

This wouldnt be a very bad issue if bungie would fix there matchmaking because nobody wants to play trials because of one cheaters or two its not fun because everyone swests there ass off in there

They do need to be addressed because instead of people helping others by letting them use ghost lobbies for free there making people pay for something that is free for them and takes almost no time if unfair so that’s another reason people can’t go flawless because people shouldn’t have to pay for flawless they either need to make a freelance play list or make loosing a match give tokens and make it so you can get any weapon or armor from the engrams

4 RepliesBro just because you’re super skilled at pvp doesn’t mean everyone else is. I know for a fact there’s plenty of people who are horrible at pvp and would have no chance of going flawless legit how does that seem fair that trials weapons which have a lot of the best weapons to get are exclusively available for pvp if you want shit to be fair then they need to be available to grind in pve as well. Not to mention there is sooooo much cheating and hacking in trials that for the average player it’s impossible people seeing and shooting through walls getting outside the map and all kinds of other bs that is what needs to be addressed not ghost lobbies if the cheating was fixed more people would be able to run trials legit and not have to use ghost lobbies

I appreciate the help from everyone. I did go ahead and send some reports but not sure if it’ll go through. Also I checked the persons game history through the Destiny 2 app and you can clearly see the ghost lobbies and even some people who were meant to match them but most likely were booted before the game could start probably resulting in a loss for them. Even worse it was on their 7th game (most likely flawless for those affected players.)

Hello. If you suspect someone of cheating, you can use the in-game report tool. You can also report users by utilizing Bungie’s Report Suspected Cheating article. Here is the information they are looking for:
* Display name of the “known good” player. Is this you? A friend of yours? * Display name of the suspect(s) and any other identifying info you have (clan name, Steam ID, etc.) * Explain what suspicious behavior was observed. * Note the platform the behavior was observed on. * Provide a link to the Post-Game Carnage Report (PGCR) on Bungie.net. * And if possible: * Give us links to any video evidence. This could be a YouTube video or archived Twitch stream with timestamps, a clip, or a video you have recorded and shared via a public sharing service. (Sorry, we can’t connect to your private Google Drive or OneDrive to view a video).
6 Replies1. Bungie is already aware of ghost lobbies. 2. We see people banned for using ghost lobbies on the #help forum all the time complaining about being banned. 3. Ghost lobbies are done by using network manipulation to block a opposing team joing and people using this are subject to being banned if caught. 4. Bungie can only take action if cheating is done in game and they are caught. Bungie can not stop these people from creating new accounts time and time again and advertising on third party sites. When Bungie does take action against groups offering this it is a long drawn out court case. Then they dissolve the group and create a new one. 5. Until people stop paying for these it will always be a problem.
