You've got cheaters, you've got M&K movement advantage over controllers, you've got mouse macros, mouse has no recoil, PC has lower player base so you always face the same tryhards/cheaters, its ridiculous. I could list far more but im sure people don't have the time to read a list that long.

Yes the cheater problem is super annoying, but don't get mad that people enjoy using mouse and keyboard over controller. There is literally nothing wrong with that. I love being able to play the game with actually great graphics and with my preferred input device, as opposed to 30fps and a creaky slow moving character on controller. Nothing against console users though.

2 RepliesI just hope crossplay excludes pc players and automatically kicks console m&k players into pc matchmaking. If crossplay is like warzone then i will instantly delete this game without hesitation.
-
Not a mistake. Bungie just stubbornly refuses to tune the game differently for PC.
-
18 RepliesFeel free to not play on PC.. That was your choice. Your M&K vs Controller point is hilarious. Again, user choice. Cheaters are on all platforms, not just PC.
-
Switch to console then. Bungie gets money and you can enjoy the game. Win-Win
Sorry, all out of salt.
-
But the graphics and refresh rate are pretty -blam!-ing amazing.

Edited by Dismay: 11/3/2020 7:53:07 PMYou play PC and you’re complaining about people using the native input? LMAOOO!!! Lay off the dope, dude, it’s definitely not doing you any good.

- I don't use macros and nobody I play with does. - I prefer keyboard and mouse in 99% of games, since it is more enjoyable, more comfortable and feels like its made for gaming. Unlike a gamepad, that ironically is made for gaming, but feels so clunky and annoying to use. - A mousepad has limits, a thumbstick that just had to be held in one direction, not. - the playerbase is big enough, dude - if Destiny 2 was on PC only the worlds would be bigger, the PVP maps would be larger, everything would be more and bigger and faster. Transmog would have been a thing from D1 start.

Bungie has trouble balancing both platforms at once, Destiny should have stayed a console game.
-
1 ReplySo don’t play on PC
-
3 RepliesPC isn't the problem. Free-to-play in conjunction to Peer-2-Peer servers are.
-
1 ReplyM&K advantage? bruh amount of advantage controller on pc give you in this game is absrud, controller on pc is something like legal aimbot lmao
-
I wholeheartedly agree with this. Destiny was originally a console-only game. As with all good things, Bungo ended it.

Found a salt miner who hasn’t just met his quota, but is also trying to get as much bonus work done as possible, for no pay!

11 RepliesBringing the game to PC is just for cash grab like the entire PC gaming ideology.

Please list more

I like playing on pc as I no longer own a console.

PC has recoil. Pick up a mouse and play with it. PC just has a faster time to adjust their recoil with more precision. Controller has viable movements too. Look at PureChill or Drewsky or even GernaderJake who play on PC with controller. Pro Controllers can also have macros. I feel like PC has the largest player base.

16 RepliesEdited by michael: 11/1/2020 9:00:39 AMIf controller is soooo disadvantaged then why do the two teams that win almost every tournament on PC have their sniper playing on controller? I'll answer the question for you. This game is easier on controller ESPECIALLY if you are sniping. Someone can pick up a controller after having not used it for months or even years and outsnipe or outprimary someone who has been on MNK nonstop. It is simply a better input. It's hard to get used to playing at the pace of a controller player in a game with mostly MNK players but if you get used to it you will make any MNK player look utterly brainless.

I would say the thing I don't like is that the mechanics are different between the consoles, and pc. If they was the same I wouldn't think there would be a problem. However that's not the case. A weapon that maybe ok on console gets nerfed because on pc the thing is a beast or vice versa. Arch types too. Sometimes even whole weapon types. If they acted, and behaved the same it wouldn't be such an issue. Yes other games do this.
-
The game is catered to PC players in my opinion... even though it does have the lowest player base and such. Things that a good on console are amazing on pc, except for last word lol. The constant struggle of having to balance the two is taking up their content creation time hahaha
-
2 RepliesDestiny on console was a mistake. Microsoft could have kept Halo as their console big hitter and Destiny could have been an actual MMO on PC that would have been able to handle it. Bungie would have still been in house. Even Luke Smith would have probably been best used as an ideas guy if this was just on PC. The way it turned out everybody lost.
-
Yeah kinda agree.
-
There is no cross platform play on destiny two currently, so if you’re on console you’re not playing against PC players. I don’t see the issue unless you’re a PC player that doesn’t like cheaters. Because there is cheating on PC, it makes you wonder anytime you were instantly sniped if it was legit or a cheater.

Sounds like a pvp problem not a pc problem in general, so let's just remove pvp ;)
