If you going the “independent studio” way means you’re going to cut out tons of content and nerf literally everything including bright dust, then Bungie made a terrible decision and it’s showing very clearly. Beyond Light could’ve been twice as large as Forsaken with Activision’s monetary support as well as High Moon Studios and Vicarious Visions helping Bungie make the content. No vendor refreshes, sunsetting, needless yet never ending nerfs, zero communication with the community, reusing old content as “new”, etc. it should actually be named Beyond Pathetic if you ask me. Not only that! But it’s clearly been more evident that ever since Bungie left Activision, they have been less and less active on the Forums. They simply don’t care anymore and are ignoring the entire player base. We get to suffer from their poor decisions. I have never seen a company so willingly dive head first down the route of Anti-Consumerism. I hope you’re proud Bungie.
