Probably ether as well, and of course whatever environment he’s been in, he’ll pick up that scent as well[/spoiler]

Ants from Earth are said to smell like either Blue Cheese, Lemon, or Vinegar. Assuming the physiology is similar he probably smells similar but with a much stronger scent. very few people are capable of smelling the scent that ants give off.
