Go into your game management options and see if you need to reinstall.
If there are any problems with dlc licences you need to talk to your platform's support as they not Bungie control game licences.

It’s not there and I doubt Xbox would give me a dlc for free but thanks for the reply

They don't need to give it to you free. If you bought it their records should say so and help you get the dlc license back.
