What is the Ascendant Lens for?
What does it even do?
How do I use it?
What is it's purpose?
Is it a item that triggers a quest?
Has Bungie released a statement that explainerates is functionality?
I've had it in my inventory for weeks and I've been all over the Dreaming City every part of the Ascendant Plane in every mission. I'm still lost.

I was cleaning out my vault this morning and came across this thing the Acendant Lens, did anyone ever find out what it's for or can it be deleted . I no I'm a hoarder, facepalm.

It must have something to do with that 15th wish in last wish. It has been 2 years and still nobody knows more info.

I think I found the portal it's talking about. I just can't get to it I need help and to stubborn to switch to my warlock or titan. But I noticed when I got it and you turn around at the start of the haunted forest there's an accendant realm portal up high and far off in the distance I've almost got to it with my mobius quivers and sword jumping but failed everytime so gave up cause I didn't want to keep waiting for my super. Hope this helps someone figure it out. Or someone gets to it before the forest closes

2 RepliesI can’t see it being anything for a couple reasons. 1. If it truly did Something come BL, folks that didn’t get it and now can’t - omg can you imagine this place! 2. Same as above, took a shit ton of chests to open to get. I would also imagine not a high % got it bc they didn’t want to do the forest grind. And again, the tears would be flowing hard here again. That said....I got it and hope it does something lol.

I imagine it'll unlock something in beyond light. I know some will rage about fomo but foreal get over it. If you were THAT passionate about the game then you'd have it.

Everything about this event feels like a last minute decision. No new weapon, exact same Haunted Forest rules, reward for doing everything is a Legendary consumable that does nothing. Even Eververse barely got any new items. You know Bungle isn't feeling it when they don't update Eververse properly. And I know you can get a Ghost, Sparrow, and Ship from Eva, but even those feel uninspired. They're just the D1 Vanilla starting ones, with bandages. That's it.

Heyo! In addition to what’s been said, one thing to consider (purely speculation) is that according to the original roadmap, we should be in Beyond Light right now. So if the ascendant lens were to drop from the haunted forest (if it still happened right now), it would have been during Beyond Light. So I’d imagine we’ll find out what it’s for in a couple weeks when Beyond Light drops!
