Arbalest (PvP)
It should atleast get a AA nerf.
You should know it too good when people can crash land on the ground and instantly hit a headshot, or take a burst of explosive payload / touch telesto bolts and still hit a headshot.

When you out snipe a team in trials to a 3 to 1 lead and all of them throw on arbelest and a side arm. You know the gun is broken.

It’s amazing how few of the people defending it have gone flawless or even play trials where you face the actual cheese. It is also entirely different on pc with the change in aim assist.

I've been using arbalest last few days to get the ritual weapon but it's far from OP. Yeah the aim assist is high with but if you 1v1 with it against a sniper, the sniper has a advantage for sure. I think higher aim assist is a good compensation for the charge time

Arbalest is not in any way more dangerous than a sniper, i see constantly people with Arbalest in PvP, and they get destroyed by snipers and shotgun apes. When 2 people rush at you, there is not much what an Arbales user can do, a sniper can 1 shot 2 people in 1 second. Plus its Exotic.

Ehhh I think it’s just ok, speaking that it has a charge time. It’s pretty much just an exotic sniper with charge time. It already has its place.

You can’t nerf everything and there are other weapons in PvP that are used almost every match that they need to tune down like shotguns. Mountain Top needs to be deleted from the game and that is way more prevalent than Arbalist in PvP. I get extremely frustrated when I lose 5 comp matches in a row then next game we start winning and dude throws on Arbalist and wipes my team and adds another loss. That being said I put mine on and I can’t get a kill with it to save my life and I’m a fairly good sniper so unless some players are using aimbot on console they have to be really good to get crit kills every shot.

2 RepliesYou must have gotten punked by someone with arbalest. I've been using it since it first appeared in the game.. it's so said how many weapons lose their might. Because people can't figure out how to play around them they come on here and complain until Bungie is sick of it. Don't worry though something else will take it's place. Then people can cry about that.. It's a great weapons but not op..

4 RepliesDude, friend of mine once laid onto a guy with an AR, and before his AR could kill, the guy swapped to arbalest, fully charged it, and headshot him. He shouldn't have had time to swap, let alone fully charge. Even with nothing but body shots, it shouldn't have worked.

Maybe, just maybe, its suffering from the same issue queens breaker was when it came to its aim assist and bullet magnetism.

When I have used it the crit will count even though I hit the chest of the player. Takes flinch extremely well and you can use it while in air. It feels like auto aim sometimes.

2 RepliesYou can always just use a sniper, arbalest has a charge time, snipers don’t. Get a sniper, Profit? You can always close the gap too, arbalest is not so great at close range
