Allo there,
Unfortunately Bungie can't change your quest progress or grant the weapon. If by the time beyond light releases and you haven't finished the quest then you'll need to wait and see if Bungie change the quest or add the weapon to the general loot pool.

I don't want them to grant the weapon I just want them to take the ballistic olog I got and give me the progress that they should be given me I don't even care about the ledgendary weapon I just want them to take it and update my quest progress from 5/10 to 6/10 so that I atleast have a chance to get the exotic guns.

well that's b's since at the start of the season my tommy's matchbook quest got completely reset and had to do it from scratch with 12% already completed on catalyst.
