What's going on with armour transmog?
Has there been any info on this? I have a full vault and 3 characters packed to the hilt with armour. Just want to know if its ok to delete them and do a clean out. Been holding out incase I needed them for ornaments.

1 ReplyBungie will withhold it for an unreasonably long time with little info given because "it's hard" and/or to build hype and/or dig them out of a hole when people are upset about something else or the player numbers drop too much. When it comes, it will be handled shittily and require too much grind or buying silver to be the simple "fun" thing it should be.

Bungee is going to wait and see how Beyond Light is received. Then make the call on how transmit will work imo

All we know is, sometime in year 4. It’d be nice to know if it’s ok to delete armour in my vault. Giving you can’t get it back from collections I don’t want to risk deleting it incase they don’t even change this. I’m thinking you can only transmog the armour you are holding but again who knows lol

They wont discuss it until summer at the earliest, still in early planning. Companies an absolute shitshow

I don't even think Bungie knows the details of armor transmog yet. They're just going to have an intern flip some switches and see what happens.

They’re working on how to implement it and what the price will be for both materials or silver to rush it.

I’d curb my enthusiasm for transmog. I don’t they are even close to rolling it out, it probably won’t work the way you think it will, and the way they’ve talked about it still leaves room for them just scrap it if they don’t think it’ll work after all. Transmog was not a promise.

Only thing that still known is sometime in yr 4 it’ll come along so hold onto what you REALLY want bin they rest

There has been zero info. Sadly it's the one thing I care about coming out, more than Beyond Light itself. Gonna be a good distance into Year 4 until they give any info most likely. If it isn't unlocked through what you have in collections and largely grindy then I will just stop playing Destiny. But I won't jump ship until I know what's what first.

Same, I just posted about that - we desperately need more Vault space! According to other games, it’s highly likely we’ll need a physical copy of the armour we want to transmog, which will be ‘consumed’ in the conversion process. But alas, Bungie have given no details AT ALL, so we’re still in the dark.
