1.(Theory)The Fallen Whirlwind was like our Collapse, and Oryx, no matter how Powerful he was, couldn't cause that Type of Calamity(Yes he committed Genocide on countless other World's).Oryx got to the Fallen like just After the Traveler and Pyrimid ships left. 2.The Collapse or Whirlwind in Record was only ever caused by the Pyrimid ships or The Darkness. *Now, It's in Theory That Oryx caused their Whirlwind, but it's also Possible at Account 1. The Fallen themselves of what I found, don't even know who caused thier Collapse. As it happened like a thief in the Night. 3.Yes Oryx followed the Traveler, but he never got close enough, always missing it. That's why Crota was on the Moon, he Finally found it and got killed before he could launch an Assault. 4.Yes I believe Eramis knows that we Defeated Oryx, who doesn't? Any way... Ya. 5. It's hard to understand these types of lore, when there opened up to Speculation. Never giving an Exact Answer. 6.(Logic) it'd make more sense if * was True, why then waste your Time with Fallen if the Traveler was literally that close? 7.(Most Possible Outcome) In the Lore, after thier Whirlwind, after sometime, Hive ships then began to Drop down. It is possible that At Account 1 Oryx got there to late and Decided to commit more Genocide as the Worms need Death to Survive. Anything is possible I guess 🤷

  • If you read the D1 lore surrounding the kell of stone youd see that it was oryx who caused the whirlwind. He arrived in system and began killing fallen. In response the strongest house (house of stone) led by the kell of stone boarded the dreadnought. When Chelces encountered Oryx the traveler left the system and headed to Earth. Without the light, the fallen were powerless and easily slaughtered by oryx. Without the traveler, the fallen were left fighting over what little ether remained. With their home world lost to the hive they chased the traveler to earth. Crota arrived on the moon by chance, when oryx opened a portal and threw him through it as a punishment for letting the vex invade the dreadnought and nearly losing the fight. Remember the darkness just wants us to be free of the traveler and not rely on it for life and power. So if it corrupted its creations, then it is very likely it would leave us just like all the other species before. Like I said there was an old piece of D1 lore which suggests the traveler abandons its host when it "sins" which could translate into the species embracing the darkness and not just the light. Yes the pyramid ships could give us stasis without the fallen, however it's the fallen wielding the darkness that lures us to Europa and gets us to embrace the darkness. Without Erimis, it is very likely Zavala wouldn't let us go to Europa, since he hos sceptical of the darkness and its message.

I did read the Lore on House Stone, that's why I stated * which is from the Lore. Again, Oryx causing the Fallen Whirlwind is entirely in Theroy. Like I said before, this Type of Lore is harder to understand as it opens up 2 Different outcomes. Was it the Darkness or Oryx? Edit: actually the Darkness is telling us to go to Europa, Variks, well is just by chance. Possible Outcome is that Eramis was communicating with the Darkness before us. As why her top guys are far more Experienced with Stasis. Were just trailing behind.

  • <It's actually possible that Oryx and the Pyramids arrived at the same time. There have been a couple times where they crossed paths.>

  • The only lore that I found on the Kell of Stone is on the Doom of Chelchis, "Where is the Great Machine? Where is the Great Machine?" —Chelchis, Kell of Stone The Doom of Chelchis adept, "All is silent. Nothing answers me. The hunger comes." —Chelchis, Kell of Stone And the Broken Crown Warlock relic, "Eliksni songs still tell of Chelchis, Kell of Stone, who stood before the Maw." I am guessing the statement that the House of Stone boarded the Dreadnought to fight Oryx is inferred from the fact that the Doom of Chelchis is found in the Kings Fall raid.

  • The fallen never had the Light and I think the Traveler left before the Whirlwind began.
