You're right, it has been long neglected and as soon as blink becomes good all the shotguns come out (I'm not one of them). That abuse motivates community outcry despite shotguns being abused everyday by other movement abilities. Balance in this game is super difficult especially when new things get added. I'm really hoping they've added some Aspects and Fragments that enhance blink so Astrocyte Verse isn't glued to my head everyday.
