TELESTO catalyst
I’ve opened the chest for the Telesto catalyst probably around 15-20 times.
I can’t get it to drop. Can you either adjust it so I can do it as many times as I want per week or adjust the drop rate so I can get this thing before the season is over.
At this rate it looks like I won’t get the catalyst and it’ll be forever gone. Time is running out. Please.
I’ve put the work in I should be able to have it not just left to Chance.

I feel your pain. I’m 22 chests in and don’t have it either. Just watched four of my team members get it in one run.

5 RepliesI honestly wouldn’t sweat it. Word is the Catalysts will be earnable via alternative means at some point. They did the same thing with the Faction Rally tied ones.

Our team has had a lot more luck with clearing encounters than we ever did just solo running the chest. Chances to drop: First encounter Ring chest Boss phase 1 Boss phase 2? <-assuming it can drop here, but haven't seen it personally

How you been running the whole of Eater or just to that point? Or just jumping the checkpoint? Just curious bro. I've been running it solo (cheese through the door style) on my Titan every week and having friends join. Didn't take long for almost all of us to get it but typically the first to get it was on like his third try. He then had to do ALL the prophecy weapons on Mercury before he could actually access the catalyst. But yeah, about 6 weeks for 6 of us to get it I think.

Frustrating for sure. I soloed the ring chest on all three characters for several months. In total probably close to 40 chests and I just got it last week. Keep at it you still have several weeks. Dragged a clan mate once and he got it on his 3rd chest. Rng is cruel.

One of my clan mates just got the Telesto Catalyst and immediately got the Sleeper Catalyst the very next day. I have neither after more chests than him RNG is a cruel SoB

2 RepliesSame, the drop rate is disgustingly low. I can understand making it rare but at this point your chances should be improving every time you open a chest. Also one thing I want to mention is that someone in my group got it from the chest right after the platform part so it seems you can get it outside of the ring chest.

i did it like three times with no luck and gave up. considering it took like 30 minutes to get to the chest for me cause i can't hit rings to save my life. But i'm also burnt out so yeah. I just can't be motivated.

6 Replies100% normal. Many players go 30, 40, 50+ raids and still not find the one specific drop they're looking for. RNG is here to stay. Keep playing, cross your fingers, and hope it drops. If not, well... lesson learned.
