Ok i have a 700 mb download and upload connection and get no problems on any other games online. But Destiny 2 i get error codes left right and center. Not my connection as it suggests in your help topics. With all the money we put in your games you'd think after a few years these things would be addressed as a priority. Same with your absolutely ridiculous pvp matchmaking.

5 RepliesNot sure if this still an issue for you, but I was looking at this post when I was having a problem. I was having the exact same issue , had tried the exact same fixes (resets, port forwarding, heathchecks, hardwiring etc) , and even worked with ISP to see if there was anything wrong that they could detect. Nothing . In a last ditch effort , I replaced my router. Theres no explanation for this, but it fixed it .

According to Bungie error code baboon is caused by a disconnect from the players WiFi and the Bungie servers, error code anteater is caused by an issue with the players network. For both of these error codes the recommended solution is to switch to a wired connection. I hope this helps fix the problem or at least mitigate the issue until Bungie can respond.

I have an old PlayStation and old cellphone. The issue is always their servers and how many server “seats” they have active based upon a complex algorithm. It’s possible they are utilizing data-mining servers, PlayStation servers, or their own. Who really knows. If they aren’t getting the sales, they are closing available seats.

I couldn't finish a raid with my clanmates because of this ridiculous Baboon error bs. Everything else I do on my PC using the internet is fine. Down/Up speed >200 Mbps. Even though it fluctuates at times I've never had this issue before the most recent reset. Went into an LFG group for a whisper mission just to get effed by this error. Infuriating
