Worldline Zero Catalyst
So I just had the Worldline Zero Catalyst drop, and got the first Escalation boss. I don't think there are enough weeks left for me to complete this. Does anyone know if Bungie has said anything about if these catalyst will be available to finish in other way or is it going to just be stuck at whatever percent I get it to?

2 RepliesThey've never just abandoned the catalysts or their drops. They'll probably just make another quest for it, like kill 1,000 enemies, or some other grindy method. It won't be right away, but I'd put money on it coming back eventually. In the mean time, there are much better swords, but if you're a completionist like me and it annoys you, then I feel your pain. Bad Juju is just sitting there and I refuse to pay for the statues to get the catalyst

Bungie said in their Content Vault TWAB that any catalysts getting vaulted will be unavailable in season 12. What nobody else seemed to mention to you was that the TWAB also says those Catalysts will come back in a future season. So don't panic, it will return sometime after season 12. Let's just hope that they don't take too long to bring 'em back. I won't be getting my Bad Juju catalyst and possibly won't be getting the Acrius or Sleeper catalyst. Oh and any progress you have made will probably get wiped unfortunately but at least it'll come back with easier requirements most likely.

6 RepliesUncollected catalysts will likely be put into the exotic kiosk, while acquired catalysts whose requirements were vaulted will likely come with whole new requirements (though likely not immediately when Beyond Light drops). In any case, whatever progress you get on Worldline is likely to be lost.

I believe you are right, not enough time left in the season. They haven't mentioned how to finish these or if there will be a new catalyst. You might want to keep track of which boss you were able to get the drop from.

2 years and 5 months late. The sword isn’t that good anyway.

The Catalyst doesn't do much for it anymore. So if you just have the catalyst but have not completed it, it's not a total loss. Year 1 catalysts can make orbs without being completed unlike Year 2 and 3 ones.
