HUD color/opacity OLED issue

Hey! Any chance of doing something about this when Beyond Light comes out, so it will be possible to play the game on a OLED without destroying it, thanks! • Just chipping in to say the same.. The LG OLEDs make very popular monitors and it would be amazing to just add those little options that would allow OLED users to not have to worry at all, and as OLED monitors are now becoming more popular and available this is a chance to get ahead of the curve. Here are some options in order of usefulness.. 1 .Either a toggle or press to show button mapping (ideally for controllers too!), it's great to play with no HUD, but having a button that you press to temporarily bring up the hud would be amazing! 2. More transparency settings, make it a slider with more granularity allowing you to take it well below the current 'low' setting 3. Allowing alternate HUD colours to work better with OLED peculiarities 4. Allow OLED mode that moves the hud around (say 20 pixels in x and y) slowly over time to really move the hud elements around to prolong burn in.

Unfortunately, with OLED screens, burn-in and image retention is entirely dependent on your viewing habits. If you're noticing burn-in from Destiny's HUD, then, unfortunately, the only real option you have is to play less and/or make sure you view other things. Opening the menu, going to orbit, and the like should be enough to reset the display. If, even with frequent switching, you're noticing burn-in (and you're sure it's burn-in and not just retention), then your device may be defective in some way. Burn-in should take a considerable amount of time. To my knowledge, vibrancy of the colors has no effect on it; even a dark grey or almost black can still lead to burn-in if it's left on the screen for extended amounts of time simply due to the pixels being activated. An extended amount of time should be more than just a few hours, and it seems unusual that you'd leave your game on for enough time for burn-in to occur on the same exact screen and never opening your inventory for a long enough amount of time to get burn-in from the HUD.

    • So, the way I need to play the game now, so I dont damage my TV any more (it has all ready so much burn in from The HUD that it needs to be replaced) The instant I have a super, grenade or ability I need to use it... fun eh?

    • So I tried playing without HUD, it can be done in PVE, but not optimal. Its impossible in PVE because "off" removes everything, not just the lower left HUD (which is the main problem) and low opacity isnt really low at all in Destiny 2

    • Some options could be: Turn if off, but not like it is now where everything is gone. Much more opacity settings Make the colors less vibrant Make the hud colorless Hope Bungie see this and can do something about this so OLED users can enjoy and play the game.
