Banned from PvP because of "connection"
So I lost connection in a couple PvP games over the last week or so and I randomly got banned from PvP today for two weeks because of this. There was no warning. Wtf bungie? You'll kick me out of PvP for a couple lost connections but can't implement proper anti-cheat? To hell with this game. I've been patient with bungie for 6 years but I'm done. bye destiny

42 RepliesThe restriction is your warning to fix your connection, unless you want Bungie to ban you out right, which will eventually happen if you don’t get your connection fixed. Post your connection speed, jitter, package lose, etc.

D2 Warning for network manipulation. D2 Warning for network instability. D2 Restriction for 2 Weeks. D2 Restriction for 2 Months. Permanent D2 Restriction for bad connection. http://imgur.com/a/ySW1PQD You did not get a restriction for a few matches. The infraction usually occurs over a course of time. The process for BANS and RESTRICTIONS involve reports coming in from players or their flag system towards an individual. The person at Bungie HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Would you rather have been straight out banned? Are you hardwired or using WiFi? If you are using WiFi. Do everyone and yourself a favor. Don't. What are your tested network stats? Up AND down speeds? Ping? Latency and jitter? This is the important one. Tested PACKET LOSS?
