Bungie , i am excited about the upcomming changes to mods, but....

Like many others have asked.. Could you please implement armor mod versions of Barrier , Unstoppable and Overload ? I feel that it is a great shame that i have all these awesome exotic weapons but when it comes to doing master nightfalls etc , i am reduced to using your choice of the current seasons double primaries. Your implementation of the pulse rifle armor mod this season was a success and there is room in row three where you can replace the next to useless glimmer mods. I feel that this would add to the exciting changes that are coming our way:)

  • Frankly I think the mods shouldn't be mandatory to fight Champions in the first place; there should be more to fighting them than just either brute force or stuns. Champions themselves wouldn't as problematic if they weren't ability spamming bullet sponges either, but that's exactly what we got and it's lost its luster after an entire year of dealing with them.

    • Those mods really shouldn't exist

I hate to say it but those mods are too OP. They kinda make content too easy. While a good argument would be, "dont use them", I feel the easier endgame content becomes the less value it has. And sadly these mods lessen the value of a lot of endgame content. I'd like to see not as strong versions of these mods.

      • If I could give you stacks of upvotes I would. Double primary is a choice btw. But still. I agree on this.

      • Agreed. Serious question though. Does anyone actually use the glimmer mods from the artifact? I skip right over that row every season.

If you use double primaries, chances are you’re doing it wrong, unless you try to use the terrible ammo economy to get heavies to drop and rely on that, which is also bad. That said Bungie’s Vision of Destiny is a rolling meta game. Don’t play as you want, play as they dictate. You should know by now and BL is the epitome of that moto.

            • I agree. This would be better than having to carry around various weapons with various Champion mods. Or searching through your vault via app to hunt down said-weapons. It’s needlessly clunky. Having Champion mods on armor also opens the door for exotics to become more useful. I love using Bad Juju or Outbreak Perfected knowing I can knock down a Champion!

            • Just add those mods into every weapon available and remove them from the Artifact. If they want to implement this Champion crap, go all the way, don't half ass it.

              • Yeah I’m willing to bet by the end of Y4 these mods will be universal to primary weapons. I called armor elements being removed weeks ago so I’m pretty confident on my assumptions.

              • I could not agree more. This was such a good idea. Allows you to mod weapons along the way and allows exotics to be used for champions. I would hope they eventually would move these mods into the armor as permanent additions over being seasonal too and let them just be anti barrier/overload/etc and let you choose the weapon type now that weapon mods for armor are no longer elemental dependent.
