Hey guys
I have been trying to solo poh and everything was going fine until zulmak. I have done nearly 40 runs and died in all. I was wondering if there were any tips and suggestion for what mods, weapon loadout ,and exotics I should use.
P.S. hunter main and have all exotics/rituals accept mountaintop

As a hunter i would suggest Multi shot tether with Orpheus rig and oppressive nades or bottom tree golden gun with celestial nighthawk. Another high damage build is using arc subclass with exotic gauntlets that increase melee damage and give you health back after being hit and a one two punch shotgun.

1 ReplyHunters have the hardest time staying alive in the damage phase, so the best advice is to be patient. I think my first solo flawless I barely avoided doing 6 damage phases because I was playing it extra safe. If you have anarchy, that's probably the best choice for exotic. Once the damage phase starts shoot three quick projectiles at Zulmak, then fire at the altars where the cursed thrall spawn, if you're fast enough you can kill them right as they spawn, and you can focus on the boss fight. If you miss any of the cursed thrall, hip fire as much as you can at Zulmak so you can keep an eye on any that may try to flank you, and deal with them as quickly as possible. If you miss all of them, don't be afraid to exit the fight area and deal with them. There's no limit to damage phases, and it's better to use 7+ to clear than having to reset after 1 or 2 because you died. Use your tether, oppressive darkness, and maybe a charged with light build to increase your damage so that when you are able to do damage you can maximize it. Good Luck!

I can't really explain what I do, but if you're on your hunter, use tether for the first few parts (top tree), and Arcstrider for the last part. I might stream myself soloing the pit of heresy on my hunter. might.

I use Chaos Reach with Geomags, Hive Armaments, Izanagi, Recluse and a GL with Spike Grenades for the final boss encounter. Only managed a solo flawless once, but it’s real nice when you do finally achieve it. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

Honestly, for soloing anything, Devour works the best for me. If you have access to Warlock I'd try using that. Oh! And I'd use Izi and a Full Court/Spike Nades heavy launcher for dps

-Sixth coyote -Hive barrier mod -Hive armament mod -High Mobility for getting invis as much as possible -Top Tree Void Hunter Damage is irrelevant. Your high priority is staying alive. Try to monitor your health as much as possible. As soon as it reaches a critical level get out of the situation by dodging to get invis. Another priority is to kill all small adds before the damage phase. While in the damage phase, after a couple of seconds, cursed thralls will spawn. Try to kill them as soon as possible to minimize getting killed by accident. As a hunter try to stay in the air as much as possible. The boss will slam his sword on the floor and the fire from his slam will kill you pretty quickly. I guess this will help you reaching your desired flawless dungeon run :). Keep grinding.

Honestly just patience... and Grenade Launchers...

5 RepliesHeyo! Anarchy and MT if you’re able to not blow yourself up. Hive barrier and armament mods for sure. Add a couple tears and that’s your best bet from my experience. Good luck!

I used tether, oppressive, and Xeno hip fire so I can see when the cursed thrall are creeping up on me. Went rapid shotgun and recluse/death adder.
-
My and anarchy solid 3 phase and devour will help keep you alive. Try ikelos since recluse is leaving and warmind cells are useful.
-
He can be one phased if you're really good at swapping back and forth between a OTP shotgun and Tractor cannon while punching with Liar's Handshake.

1 ReplyThere should be many guides online. I've never done it.
