Why can people leave/be afk in comp matches?
It's unfair.
I'm tired of doing 2v3s, because someone left, or was afk.
People who leave, or be afk, should get banned from matchmaking for a day.
And then 2 days.
Then so on. It's only fair to others who actually [b]want[/b] to play competitive, and not be afk/leave for no reason...

Really annoying when someone leaves after losing the first round. I can only imagine why they leave that early in a match. It was only one round, you are just making the match harder for your team to win by leaving.

I'm hearing you...bloody annoying and frustrating! Usually someone will leave in first round. Pathetic behaviour. Then you get penalised for the loser who left....doesnt make any sense 😐

13 RepliesI think that'd be fair to temporarily suspend people. Bungie should make sure to give a fair warning to people that they will see when hovering over survival though. Like "temporary suspension from playlist for inactivity or leaving matches." Then comes the question of connection problems.

3 RepliesWhat? You get suspended from mm if you leave a comp or gambit match. Multiple quits in too short of a period of time can result in a ban. You get booted for being afk in comp and then suspended for leaving the match besides. Maybe Bungie shouldn’t have forced the least skilled players in the game into comp so that comp players could make highlight videos in the casual playlist. Personally I only go into comp to do quests and bounties and I honestly don’t cate if I ruin anyone’s experience by doing so since no one seems to care about my experience.

The fact they don’t have a “you wont be penalized” system of some form highlights how much they want this game to be competitive but won’t commit to decisions that will allow for a true PvP experience. A vote to kick option would also help even in strikes and nightfalls, can’t tell you how often I get griefers who sit at spawn and get the free rewards just for waiting around.
