2 RepliesTitans fault for dying if they're hiding in a bubble and still get killed.
-
3 RepliesBecause it’s a giant, nearly-indestructible bubble. A Warlock’s Well of Radiance provides healing and weapon damage but you can still get wiped out by a sniper rifle, heavy weapon or enough players shooting you. Plus there’s an Off switch.
-
1 ReplyIt's been so long and the two games have morphed but wasn't it like that in D1?
-
It's certainly really annoying in pve but its whatever.
-
1 ReplyProbably to do with some geeky lore shit.
-
“Why do Titans never get love” WTAF are you talking about 😂
-
Lets see, anyone inside bubble is immune to all damage but other supers. Anyone inside well of radiance can easily get one shotted by snipers, shotguns etc. well of radiance only provides a 20% damage boost and only while inside the well, titan bubbles gives players a 30-35?% damage boost after walking out of the bubble for like what? 10-15 seconds? Sure players can shoot out of well but a single rocket, or any super will melt you 100% faster than being inside a bubble. I would take bubble over well of radiance any day

1 ReplyThere are pros and cons for the Well of Radiance being a separate entity to the Warlock. It's the reason why other Warlocks can use Phoenix Protocol's effects on other Wells. However that also means the Well of Radiance can be destroyed by damaging the Daybreak Sword. Ward of Dawn however is soley dependent on the Titan's lifeline. This means the only way to eliminate the bubble is to either bring a Nova Bomb level's of destruction to eliminate the bubble or eliminate the Titan. Unless you are asking for the Ward of Dawn's defence capability to be of the same level of the Well of Radiance Sword (which only takes 2-3 shotgun pellets in the crucible), I suggest you bring this case to a close, lest we forget the grace that Bungie bestowed upon you Defenders with a Weapons of Light buff (which provides a higher buff the WoR) while disgracing us Healing Locks with the nerfs.

You can destroy the sword with regular primary and special wepaons. It dosen't shield you from damage, well only gives you more health.
-
My guess would be because the bubble is highly good at keeping people inside of it alive; the level of overshield it gives is absurd. And combined with how much effort most* supers have to exert to pop it, it is really good. The Well, on the other hand, feels like something that would have been useful if it had been developed for year 1 or D2, back when it was a double primary game. Now it is pointless in pvp; not only doe it offer no resistance against enemy supers, but you can easily be sniped/shotgunned/fusioned out of it as well. The well sticking around after death and *possibly* helping your teammates is pretty much the only advantage it as over a bubble. *Other than a nova bomb or a panic barrage, there aren't really any supers that can pop a bubble unaided.

4 RepliesThis is some Titan grammar right here
-
3 RepliesEdited by sonicBOOM5431: 10/10/2020 8:43:49 PMThe answer is quite obvious. When a titan deploys its bubble, the bubble is active and channeled through the titan The titan is the instrument keeping it up, remove the titan from the equation, the bubble is gone. When a warlock deploys a well of radiance, the warlock channels its light into its sword and thrusts it into the ground, creating and sustaining the well. The sword (dawnblade) is the instrument keeping the well up, destroy the sword, well is gone. In fact, you can destroy the sword and by extention the well, without killing the warlock. Its really not that hard to understand, its literally right in front of you in game.

So nerf titans?
-
I don't mind really. It makes for a cool challenge in crucible, trying to lead an assault on the titan to get the bubble down and expose their teammates to slaughter. Trying to survive as the titan to prevent that from happening. I'd say that well could benefit from the same kind of treatment, but I've just been informed that shooting the sword can destroy it anyway which in itself makes for some interesting gameplay.

Bubble = D1 copy paste Well = D2 addition There you have your answer.
-
Don’t worry about it.. Titan smash vanishes after death aswell.. instead of the extra pulses it just fades into obscurity
-
Would be nice if they changed them so they at least would slowly dissolve instead of instantly disappearing.
-
This...... has been a thing since D1.......
-
Edited by FL00FING AB0UT: 10/10/2020 6:22:26 PMYeah, that is pretty inconsistent. It should be consistent for both Well and Ward that if the player dies the super either stays or goes.
-
12 RepliesYeah it’s pretty stupid why that’s a thing, us Warlocks well of Radiance stays even if we die, why can’t Titan’s have the same treatment?
-
Bungie: So we decided to nerf titans even more with the new update. Now if you die playing a titan we hire a hitman to kill you in real life.
-
At least give a grace period, 2 seconds so your team can dip
-
And you can destroy a well with a side arm. Seems fair to me
-
Good question but dumb as a Titan answer:Because.
-
1 ReplySimple Well of radiance's sourse is the sword Bubble's is the titan
-
Your right. Wells should dissapeared on casters death as well. -Bungie
