I unlocked the catalyst and had gotten to 6% with it. Then I went in a second time got all 5 chests and got the chest with the blueprint. I then checked the catalyst completion again, and it had been removed, and I had to re-apply it. So now I've lost all my progress and won't be able to unlock the catalyst before the mission goes forever :(
