Where are the Warlock PVP exotics Bungie?

Wow give me a reason to finally take of transversive steps. I have been trapped on these bad boys since day 1. The lack of creative, useful pvp warlock exotics is crazy.

Also, I wouldn't be so quick to criticize the Dawn Chorus helmet (besides the aesthetics). There is potential for gaining an insane amount of melee energy, which means more Celestial Fire.

    • Sounds more like a "you" problem. There is a bunch of great exotic out there for Warlock's. -Ophidian aspect -Wing of sacred dawn -Veritys brow -Claws of ahamkara -Getaway artist Are some of those that can be quite useful in both PvP and PvE. Just use your imagination my friend you'll find out how all of these can be good quickly.

      • Might as well sunset warlocks too, it would be much easier to balance the game if bungie completely removes warlocks out of the game honestly. I main warlock but I’ve always had a hunter just in case I was ready to retire my warlock, every single season or dlc, bungie shows how they constantly want to screw warlocks over in one way or another. Don’t get me wrong, these new warlock exotics actually look strong but they are limiting us in creativity. More damage on dawnblade? Cool I guess, the writing is confusing though so we might actually get a viking funeral type of exotic which would be amazing if I read it correctly. The new poison gloves look amazing too but warlocks only have 2 projectile based melees in this game so top tree dawn and chaos reach will be the only viable ones for this exotic, every true warlock main knows how bad the other melees are and it doesn’t help warlocks happen to have the slowest melees on the game as well.

        Now with beyond light warlocks will have 7 exotics that involve melee.(more than titans and hunter's) I get what the issue is. Bungie keeps giving warlocks melee exotics, on the class with 0 melee synergy. None of a warlocks subclasses are designed to work with melee other than top tree Dawnblade, and that's more of a side bonus than actual synergy. Meanwhile titans and hunter's both have things like infinite melee ability chains in their arc subclass, and melee focused exotics that actually compensate and fit into how the subclasses are designed

        • You’ll likely be trapped on them forever like hunters with Stompees due to getting use to the movement. Ophidian Aspects and Transverse Steps are arguably the best two PvP exotics a player could hope for.

        • Warlocks are becoming extinct in PVP. The real evacuation will be in November when shifting hunters and overshield Titans cause Warlocks to be vaulted for PVP. Warlocks are already PVP hard mode and now with a lack of PVP exotics they are truly becoming a strictly PVE class.

            • I main a warlock and I'm not sure I see your point. Obsidian aspects (or whatever they're called) are on of the best exotics for gun play in the game.

            • That seems like a you problem. There are plenty of good warlock PvP exotics. Verity's brow. Karnstein. Eye of another world...+20 in every stat. Getaway artist. Contraverse hold. The 2 new warlock exotics.

                • Warlocks will never be more than dawnblade/Transversive. Bungie doesn't know what a caster is or what they want the warlock to be so you lose 2 subclasses for one really strong one that forces you to play one way with niche and situational exotics. Swapped back to a titan and won't waste time with a class that gained power in 1 place at the cost of versatility.

                • How can titans get great overshield exotic and hunter great blink/dodging abilities while warlocks get a fu***** meele energy recharge and poison with meele? What the heck? Why dont Titans who should be the meele class get the meele poison recharge shit and warlocks the overshield as a team support class. Really i was ok with bungie until now but now i am pissed off.

                  • Ok. Classics that are definitely good: Transversives, ophidian, astrocyte, tempest. Others: -Promethium Spur is great in comp, when dawn pops super and kills a target the other dudes RUN FOR THEIR LIVES, you get buffs and healing, you're chasing someone who's on the run. -I always use contraverse with handheld supernova, which btw is still good, it's like a bastion bc of high charge time, but you can hold for 2 seconds. If you use anything that almost kills, e.g. special grenade Launcher, eriana's, two taps of aggressive hc, etc., then getaway artist is CRACKED. -If you don't want to change your playstyle all that much and you just like your guns, use Eye of Another World. Beefy passive buff on ability charge time that goes a longer way than you expect. -And here's something that's just flat out fun wherever the heck you use it: Ace of Spades and Chromatic Fire. Boom there ya go now you have some things to spend the rest of your season trying out 😂

                    • I played only warlock since D1. After taking two years off, I deleted my Warlock and made a Hunter. Nothing will change with respect to Warlock exotics

                      • The AOE Dots on melee hit isnt a pvp exotic? Going arround spamming autotracking infinite AOE melee that also deals DoT seems pretty broken to me.

                        • I'm pretty sure raining down fire, teleporting across the map, supers that last going the length of most maps 2 times and 2 mile reach insta kill melee beats most exotics. Looks like your getting some with beyond light.

                            How about an exotic that makes it so when you use well of radiance, instead of just dropping the well; you get 15 seconds of normal Dawnblade. And on your last throw of DawnBlade, you can throw a well of radiance that lasts 15 seconds. You get a roaming super, and a single use super at the cost that they last less time each.

                            I can name a few. Warlock main here before you say I don’t know what I’m talking about. Stag. Underrated hard. Half your rift for becoming red bar. Rifts every ten seconds at ten recov. Astrocyte. This is my main plus warp in pvp. Slaps, makes the super good again, faster travel than top tree dawn, shotguns and fusions are great with it. Karnstein Armlets. 10 to all stats (mobility, res, recov) for seven seconds, and continuous healing for seven aswell? For just a melee kill? Considering the great melees warlocks have (nova, fire, lightning ball) it’s great. Chromatic Fire. Don’t diss me lol. It actually helps a lot in pvp, taking out half a guardian’s shields for killing their friend they were holding hands with. Headshot someone with a snipe, body the next guy who is weak. Also, double proc’s with Ace’s firefly for some stupid stuff lol. Ophidians. Do I need to explain 6.5m melee range? Don’t think that’s good? Fine. How about a reload mod for everything? Still not good? Have some weapon dex on your GAUNTLETS, freeing up leg slots for scavs and traction. Crown of tempests is still good. Half your abilities back for a kill, faster super, longer super, etc. still pretty good neutral and super-wise. Geomags are nuts. 10 intellect plus geomags and double Light Reactor/anything to boost your super and you’ll get upwards of 3-4 supers in a 6-round Survival game. Clutches rounds all the time. I’m sure there are others, but I’m sleep deprived and under caffeinated. Edit: oops, forgot the Nezerac’s, Getaways, Prometheum (if you want to crash games 4head), and the never forgettable Verity’s Brow, which is one of the best pve and pvp exotics for grenades hands down.

                              • There are none and never will be any at this rate. Bungie will never pull their heads out of their asses. Destiny was and always will be a Hunter and Titan game. Whoever was responsible for making Nova Warp so good was most likely lured into the "sunset" office, gagged with a Hunter cloak and shot in the head 7 times by Luke Smith and then vaulted.
