Title is the extremely brief summary or my issue, here comes the long version. I did my story quests and got [armory]Drang[/armory] exotic pistol at some point from the farm. I kept playing and found that the attack number on it was much smaller than other weapons, so it seemed useless. By that time, I've seen collections and an option to reacquire items later with higher attack number if needed, so I dismantled Drang (I didn't know that I could keep Drang and upgrade it). Later, I noticed that I have the quest "Relics of the Golden Age", which requires using Drag, but I couldn't find Drang under collections to reacquire it. It was mentioned somewhere that exotics can be acquired as drops as well, so that was my initial thought of how to get it again. It hasn't happened in hundreds of hours. Later, I learned about Xur and his exotic engrams, which give exotics that you don't own yet. I thought I'd get Drang from them eventually, because I don't own it, but it turns out some exotics are excluded from the list and I started getting duplicates. I have also created 2 other characters for the other 2 classes and they didn't get the initial quest, which grants Drang. Is there a way to reacquire Drang apart from creating a new account? If not, I hope devs consider this situation when removing the farm and shuffling quests around for the big DCV change.
