lost all my gear from destiny 1 when moving too destiny 2 can any one help?
I have just logged on destiny 2 for the first time 4/5 years ago i played alot of D1, I had lots of gear and was lookingforwad to using it in D2. My D2 character has none of the gear just basic. I have serched the internet looking for solutions. My platform is xbox and continue to use xbox. i checked my play time on D1 and have 3 characters when i view my profile it says i only have 1? can some one help or am i missing something like go to someone in the tower to retreave old data... also my valt is empty. please help

The only things that carry over from D1 are... Race, face and gender settings. Certain earned emblems. As a bonuses you get in D2... A recap of when you completed certain D1 activities for the first time. In game dialogue changes. You do not keep your level or skills. You do not keep any items.

Destiny 2 does not carry over the equipment you had in Destiny 1. It was all destroyed when the cabal destroyed the tower and the vaults with it.

Nothing from D1 carries over into D2 other than the look of you characters face.
