Intrinsic perk- An object in motion- This rifle fires massive round dealing extremely high damage and is capable of over-penetrating targets and wall. (think 20mm anti-tank rifle. It would deal 6x the damage of a single shot from a high impact sniper rifle)
Exotic perk- Anti-Everything Rounds- This rifle breaks champion barriers, staggers unstoppable champions, and disrupts overload champions. Champions that are stunned by this rifle, remain stunned for a longer duration. (stun duration adds 1.5 seconds)

The last perk made me laugh is so fitting of a gun Shaxx would use. For balance purposes, maybe the perk would instead swap out champion mods the way Hardlight swaps out damage types. After firing a round while a mod is loaded, the mod cannot be changed for another 45-60 seconds.

4 RepliesThe "anti-everything" part is really broken. I can see it being good against only unstoppables, because more than that is a bit too much.

1 ReplyYes but you could easily change this to Saladin because Efrideet actually threw him. Otherwise just give me an ornament that fires miniature thundercrash titans and I'd be happy

1 ReplyMaybe have different ammo types you have to select? Because that seems way to bloated and the negatives aren’t that bad

Edited by SIERRA - 117: 10/6/2020 8:28:39 PMFirst off I wanna say that an anti-material rifle in Destiny has been a dream of mine. Now I'm gonna give some suggestions: 1. Have the player go into the weapon menu and actually select which type of rounds they want the gun to fire. Or they could just hold the reload button and cycle through the different ammo types. 2. Because this rifle is a massive anit material weapon, it should only fire one shot at a time. (Im Well aware that these rifles in real life have magazines, but for balance sake, let it shoot one round at a time). 3. Maybe the different ammo types should affect how the gun performs: - Unstoppable rounds have less range and extremely high impact, but slower reload. They are very heavy rounds. - barrier rounds have less impact because they focus on piercing through shields, but have more range and accuracy, reload speed is normal - overload rounds are extremely light and therefore reload speed is quicker, they also have higher precision damage on overload champions when you hit their "sweet spot". Just my thoughts

I like it, I could see it fitting more into the heavy slot otherwise people will call it over powered if it was in the special or primary slot

1 ReplyI like the idea, but that would be really strong. Should probably have some sort of downside. Maybe reduced movement speed while carrying it? And for a catalyst maybe it could get something that reduces flinch in some way.
