Why do people hate Hunters?
I genuinely do not know why. I do understand why people hate nightstalkers, but why hunters in general? I chose a hunter because I ported my character over from the 1st game and even then, I chose that because I liked Cayde-6 as a vanguard.

I'm a hunter main 100%, i try playing warlock and titan but its just way too slow and i hate it for that reason tho just my opinion

I don’t hate Hunters but it’s rather annoying seeing a Hunter ask for nerfs to Titan abilities i.e shoulder charge when it is blatantly obvious Hunters are a superb PvP class.

Edited by amazinj2084: 10/4/2020 3:06:28 AMI hate hunters because they have abilities that cancel your super like the tether arrows, they have a melee that surpress your abilities and blinds you, as well as dodging that literally saves their life from any point blank shots that you shoot. They can stop projectiles and supers using the arc staff sub class, they can turn invisible using their regular class ability and spectral blades, they can triple jump, they have a faster running speed, they have a throwing blade that kills you in 1 hit, not to mention all the exotic armour that helps increase those abilities. They are hard to shoot most of the time because they can strafe side to side faster . Try using a 110 handcannon on a team full of hunters for a few hours. Or try sniping them for a few hours as they sprint and jump like rabbits. Their 6 shooter super can hit you with very little aiming ability as long as you shoot close enough to them.

Boy oh boy would I have a rant. But since I don't want to type a 3000 word essay, hunters verticality is RIDICULOUS. But then again that's why hunter is hunter

They are popular in PvP for a reason. I don't care, I feel like the game is fairly balanced. I main a Titan in PvP.

They’re annoying. Especially with Stopees. No one likes them and there are a thousand reasons why.

People hate hunters because apparently they are fast and have an exotic that bumps health up by 20% if they are weaken. Then also they hate the mobility and dodge hunters have. They also apparently hate the spectrel blades. I'm a hunter main and can say for certain, hunters aren't op they are as balanced as other classes, the exotics aren't game breaking. Warlocks move far faster than hunters if they are top tree solar. Most hunters don't even use dodge correctly. These are my arguments to people who say hunters are op when they actually aren't. More like just balanced as any other class. If people get beaten by a guy who is hunter it's more than likely they were outplayed by skill. Don't forget there is a larger pool of players that play hunter non stop so you'll more likely see more top tier players running around as a hunter even if they aren't hunter mains.
