Macros
Hey, I was wondering a friend got banned from using a AFK macro(I’m pretty sure it was this) though I haven’t used one yet, will I get banned for using a macro for the buttons on the side of my mouse, just to switch weapons or sum like that??

1 ReplyYou will not get banned for using mouse buttons as long as those buttons only replace a single key press. I have my 2 side buttons set for class ability and super. You can make them whatever you want though. Grenade, weapon hotkey, reload, melee, jump, sprint, crouch, etc. You get the point. If you use software to program those buttons to automate walking, jumping, shooting, ect, then you could be banned.

If you have a mouse with side buttons you will not be banned. Those are just buttons lol. You would be banned if you had the buttons set up to, say, jump six times in one button push which would involve macros.
